AURORA MOON
"What's wrong?" The man's voice came out of nowhere. His tone held both fear and fury.
Aurora looked around for the source of the voice, but she found only Belna's worried gaze. And the sorrow emanating from the Duke.
She heard an explosion of sounds. Voices. Alarms. Metallic bangs. Frightened, she crouched down, covering her ears.
"Stay with me," begged Duke Warden. "Don't go. Aurora, please!"
Dizziness assailed her. "Wh-what's happening?"
"Let me go!" yelled the duke. "Please! Let me go to her."
"Your grace?" whispered Belna. "Are you all right?"
"Is she all right?" echoed a man's voice on top of Belna's.
Aurora squeezed her eyes shut. Her stomach felt sour, like she was going to vomit. The dizziness only got worse. Her mouth dried up and the awful feeling in her belly rose coldly in her body.
"What the fuck!"
