Chapter 87 - Chapter 87

Full Body Reception—Soul of Satan!

The demon Mirajane erupted onto the scene.

A terrifying aura, as if conjured from the depths of hell itself, radiated outward.

The pirates who had been arrogant moments before froze in place, like ducks caught in a trap. Fear gripped every fiber of their bodies as they stared at the demonic figure.

At that instant, they realized the truth: the most terrifying force on this ship was not the Jupiter Cannon—it was the people aboard. Soon, they would experience firsthand the power of Fairy Tail's S-class mage, Mirajane.

"Stop bluffing!"

A discordant voice cut through the chaos.

Snug, the fourth general of the Big Mom Pirates, suppressed his fear.

Clang!

He drew his long-handled tachi behind him.

"I am a star of the Big Mom Pirates! Don't think you can scare me!"

With a roar, he swung the blade toward the demon Mirajane.

But the attack met with nothing but calm defiance.

Crash!

The sound of steel clashing echoed across the deck.

"Nani?!" Snug's eyes widened in disbelief.

The blow he expected to cut through steel had been effortlessly controlled—with one hand—by the demon Mirajane.

"Impossible!"

Pirates around him stared, stunned. The demonic Mirajane had simply raised her right hand, letting her claws lightly intercept Snug's strike.

And then—something even more horrifying occurred.

"Demon Blast!"

Mirajane's voice was icy. A spark, sharp as lightning, danced between her palms. Snug had no chance to react.

A tyrannical beam, as if it condensed all the darkness in the world, shot out, engulfing Snug and piercing through the guild hall.

Hiss… sizzle…

The pirates' terrified gasps echoed, one after another.

Before they could even process the shocking defeat of the Big Mom officer, the shadow of death spread further.

The black devil claws of Mirajane suddenly enveloped all the pirates in the guild hall.

"Dark Rage!"

She slowly closed her hand.

"Ah! Ah! Ahhh!"

The pitiful screams of the pirates were cut short in an instant. Hundreds were obliterated on the spot.

"Perona, the intruders inside the guild are yours. If I intervene, the guild will suffer further damage. Leave the outsiders to me."

The devil Mirajane commanded.

"Yes, I'll take care of them, Miss Mira!" Perona responded quickly.

Kalifa nodded blankly, her mind still reeling.

Mirajane had killed Snug—the fourth general of the Big Mom Pirates—in a single blow. The very real, advanced cadre with a bounty of 600 million Berry, now gone.

Kalifa couldn't calm herself. This was combat performance on par with a Naval Admiral—and Mirajane had been the unassuming ship receptionist until now.

"What are you waiting for, Kalifa? Follow me—I found where the enemies are invading!" Perona called.

Kalifa snapped back to focus and followed Perona. If she could make a contribution here, she would secure her place in Fairy Tail.

But the moment she prepared to act, she realized she might not have a chance at all.

Pirates poured into the narrow aisle, but Perona—the other "war scum"—showed no fear. With a wave of her hand, white specters surged forward. In the confined aisle, the pirates could not evade.

Kalifa watched, dumbfounded, as Perona's ghosts struck. Within a heartbeat, the vicious pirates fell to their knees, terrified, repenting their crimes.

"What kind of power is this?!" Kalifa whispered, shocked beyond measure.

And yet, the true horror was yet to come.

"Hey, you wicked ones! Taste the resentment of those you killed!" Perona clasped her hands.

She activated her Awakened Magic—Spiritual Dragon Slayer Magic!

An icy wind, sharper than a winter moon, surged forth. Kalifa shivered, goosebumps rising as the invisible force swept past.

Though nothing could be seen, the pirates' reactions made the power obvious. They screamed, clawing at the air, trying to fend off invisible ghosts.

This was Perona's Spirit Dragon Slayer Magic, combining her ghost fruit ability with the power to summon spectral avengers fueled by victims' resentment. Ordinary people were unharmed. Only the wicked suffered.

Kalifa couldn't hide her awe. This was true magic of the soul—deadly, precise, and terrifying.

"Perona, what did you do to them?" she asked, voice shaking.

"No time to explain! We stop the root cause first!" Perona replied, floating toward the large bath area. The ghosts swept the pirates away effortlessly.

Bree, the mirror fruit user, screamed as fleeing pirates trampled her into a coma. The mirror channels closed.

Meanwhile, Captain Daifuku barked commands into the mirror.

"What's happening? Why close the mirror tunnel? And what happened to that beam cannon?!"

But no answer came.

"Lord Snug… was killed… by that cannon!" a terrified pirate shouted.

Daifuku's face drained of color. His own brother, one of the elite generals, slain so easily… by a single beam.

The terrified screams continued.

"You dare face our Fairy Tail blade? Prepare to go to hell!" The devil Mirajane's voice cut through the sky, dark magic radiating outward.

Dark Spark!

Black energy balls shot across the battlefield, sinking pirate ships one by one.

Charlotte Dafu roared, activating his lamp demon with his paramecia fruit.

"Majin Slash!"

The lantern demon swung with immense force, but Mirajane, in demon form, raised her clawed hand and lightly blocked it.

"Impossible!" Dafu's eyes widened in shock.

Kaka!

The lantern demon's sword shattered.

"Soul Extinct!"

A beam of black energy annihilated the demon and Dafu's ship instantly.

The waves rolled, carrying two magical power boats like white dragons across the battlefield.

"Hurry!" Vivi shouted anxiously.

"Those pirates dared unite against Fairy Tail… they will pay dearly!" Nami gritted her teeth.

From a distance, Marian, using a high-powered mirror, witnessed the scene.

"That… that's Miss Mira?!" she gasped.

Soon, others also realized the truth.

"It's Mira!" Robin confirmed.

"Miss Mira… the Devil Mirajane?" Wendy whispered, awed.

"An S-rank mage, just like Erza!"

The contrast was staggering. The gentle, amiable Mirajane of everyday life had unleashed a terrifying, destructive power.

"Now you see why Sugisawa Yuuto allowed her to stay on the ship alone," Erza remarked with a faint smile.

"Enough watching—let's begin. Don't let a single one escape!"

Dress Up—Kuroba's Armor!

Erza spread her wings and launched at a massive battleship.

Dress Up—Purgatory Armor!

Boom! Rumble!

The ship exploded with tremendous force.

"That's… Erza! The Fairy Queen!"

The terrified pirates screamed.

"Roar of the Dragon! Earth Waves! Star Shooter! Come out—King Kong! Shin Su—Hundred Hands!"

The Fairy Tail girls attacked in unison, obliterating pirate ships.

"Why is today like this?!" pirates wailed. "We were supposed to crush Fairy Tail easily!"

Even Morgans, the news king above, laughed ominously.

"Desperate… the real bombardment has only just begun!"

A magical power ship approached at high speed.

"Urrutia, freeze this sea," Sugisawa Yuuto commanded calmly.

"Yes, President!"

A bitter cold spread, freezing the waves. Urrutia, daughter of the Great Ice Sorcerer Uru, wielded time-lost magic alongside her freezing power.

"Let's begin," Sugisawa Yuuto said, stepping forward.

With each footfall, his figure grew, and a Giantization Magic began to swell around him.
