Chapter 138 - Chapter 138

One day ago…

Yamato had seen the news on the World Economic Report.

Learning that Fairy Tail was about to liberate Wanokuni, Yamato immediately decided to retreat and train.

Good thing Fairy Tail was coming to help.

Yamato had expected to wait at least another week—but never imagined that in just one day, the island of ghosts would be transformed.

The sudden explosion had nearly split the island in half.

The unparalleled light of judgment had flashed across the ruins, and the entire Beasts Pirates force was defeated.

Faced with such a drastic turn of events, Yamato could no longer retreat.

She rushed forward from the rear lines to the front gate.

Before fully grasping the situation, she encountered Sabo.

The two collided—no hesitation, full strength.

"Wait… what?"

Listening to Ace introduce his old friend, Yamato blinked in surprise, then reacted immediately.

"Ace, is this the little brother Luffy you always talked about? Hello, hello, Luffy! I'm Kozuki Oden… also known as Yamato!"

Yamato greeted Sabo enthusiastically.

Sabo: "???"

"No, no, Yamato! He's not Luffy. He's my other brother, Sabo!" Ace hurriedly corrected.

"Huh? Ace… your other brother? Why didn't you tell me last time?" Yamato froze again.

"The story's complicated. I'll explain slowly later. But in short, Sabo and I reunited just these past two days," Ace said.

"I see… that's amazing, Ace! Another brother!" Yamato's smile was genuine, heartfelt.

Listening to Ace, Sabo looked completely dumbfounded.

"Wait a minute… wait a minute, Ace! When did I become your younger brother?!" he shouted, flustered.

"Of course, I'm older than Sabo. I went to sea first, so I'm the eldest brother!" Ace stated casually.

"Where's that calculation coming from?!" Sabo protested.

"Honestly, Sabo, you're surprisingly childish!" Koala teased, earning a blush from Sabo.

"Hahaha, Ace, your stories about brothers are fun, but this isn't the time. What's happening here?" Yamato asked, eyes scanning the battlefield.

"Is this really the island of ghosts?"

"Yes." Ace's expression was solemn. "No one could have predicted how this would unfold—not you, not me, not even Dad."

"Fairy Tail… what an incredible guild…" Yamato murmured, awe evident in her eyes.

Her gaze shifted to the battlefield:

Erza rode Wushuang, mowing through the Beasts' forces like a whirlwind, defeating the massive serpentine monsters.

"As expected of the legendary Fairy Queen…" Yamato murmured.

Elsewhere, the Fairy Tail girls fought with precise coordination:

Dense forests sprouted and coalesced into a massive Hundred-Handed Avalokitesvara, each hand crushing foes effortlessly. Even flying, six-limbed black Maria, enhanced with ancient powers, was defeated without difficulty.

Scorpio unleashed wind and sand, Capricorn executed graceful crushing kicks.

"Wait… is that Runti?" Yamato froze again.

Iron Hair, fighting alongside Nami and others against the Beasts, was alive. She had supposedly fallen during a prior clash with Jack.

Now, she appeared as a Fairy Tail member, fighting with purpose.

Meanwhile, Peggy Wan's emotions were torn.

Seeing his sister alive was joy beyond words. But happiness didn't last long.

A rocket-head hammer slammed him from his irascible older sister.

"Wait! Sister! Don't you recognize me? I'm Peggy Wan, your younger brother!" His face turned green with frustration.

"Yeah, yeah, Master Runti!"

"Isn't this all of us?" The remaining Hundred Beasts shouted, confused.

"Don't waste words! You tried to ambush my friends—don't even think of running!" Runti barked, fuming.

"Moisturizer!!!"

Boom! Peggy Wan, in his ancient ridgeback form, was slammed again by Runti's hammer, other subordinates scattered, crying for mercy.

"Sister… do you really not recognize me?" Peggy Wan struggled, stretching his hand toward her.

Runti caught it.

"Old lady," he said. Peggy Wan's heart leapt.

But before words could be exchanged, Break Gun!!!

Stars flashed as Runti's attack smashed again. Peggy Wan rolled, defeated.

"Aww~" The saber-toothed tiger roared, claws cracking the ground. "No one beats me, Kalifa!" The tiger's smirk was strange.

"Did we really know each other before?" Kalifa asked seriously.

"Have you forgotten? We were best friends!" Forsford shook his head.

Tooth Gun!!!

Bloody fangs bit the earth.

"It's you!!!" Kalifa finally reacted.

About ten years ago, CP9 had another prodigy. After failing a mission, he was imprisoned, then disappeared.

"I remember now. And you should know… against me, Lu Qi, a crane-tail like you stands no chance!" Fu Sifu said confidently.

"Perhaps that's true…" Kalifa admitted. With the Capricorn Star Spirit Clothes, it wasn't easy to defeat CP9's cadres.

"Good. Since we were partners before, and now share the same cause against the World Government, I can let you go. Let's call it a day." Feiliufu smiled.

"Are you scared?" Kalifa asked.

"What did you say?!" Forsford's face darkened, mind shaken.

Yes—he was scared. Not of Kalifa, but of Fairy Tail.

Terrified of Yuuto's power.

"I can't take you alone, but now I have the most reliable partner." Kalifa's smile was calm.

"Hey hey hey paw!" Princess Mononoke Perona laughed uncontrollably.

"The arrogant fool is babbling in front of us Fairy Tail! Kneel before me!"
