"Based on the list of requirements you have provided me, we can now start searching for a house for you. But are you sure you can afford it all? You don't… look stable to me, and the rent will not be cheap."
The agent whom I had hired to help me find a house looked me up and down before he declared this. He was judging me based on my looks.
Usually, I would not have minded, but it irked me at that moment. I masked my mood to not show my annoyance, but the same could not be said for Fenrir.
"Shopkeeper, can I bite this human? How dare he make fun of you like that. Does he not know how great you are?"
Fenrir's growls made the agent take a step back in fear before he immediately noticed that Fenrir was leashed and wouldn't be able to reach him…
Or so he thought. Fenrir could easily break apart the leash any second he wanted to. The only reason he was not doing that was a simple command from me.
"Fenrir, calm down."
