Chapter 166 - Chapter 166. Dyna and Cosmos Capsule Fusion

Among the fifteen capsules now gathered, two stood out—those of Ultraman Dyna and Ultraman Cosmos.

Yu Zhou immediately phoned Leito, asking him to come to Nebula House with Zero.

Leito didn't hesitate. During his lunch break, he made his way over, curious about what Yu Zhou wanted.

"Zero, I want you to try something."

Yu Zhou spoke seriously as he picked up two capsules from the table—the Dyna Capsule and the Cosmos Capsule.

"These two?"

Leito's glasses were removed, and his consciousness slipped back as Zero's will took control.

"Yes. Dyna and Cosmos," Zero confirmed, accepting the capsules from Yu Zhou's hand.

Yu Zhou looked straight at him. "How about giving it a try? See if you can use their power… to become Saga?"

Zero's eyes lit up. "It's worth a try!"

The thought of wielding Saga's might stirred something inside him. Saga was a warrior born of ultimate unity—if he could manifest that power with the capsules, then even Belial might be nothing to fear.

"Saga? What's that?" Riku blinked in confusion, completely lost.

Yu Zhou explained patiently, "Saga is an Ultraman. A mysterious one, possessing immense, overwhelming power."

"Really?!" Riku was shocked. He quickly asked RE.M. to pull up information on this mysterious figure.

"Ultraman Saga," RE.M.'s voice chimed from the floating sphere. "A mysterious warrior formed through the fusion of Ultraman Zero, Ultraman Dyna, and Ultraman Cosmos."

The screen lit up, displaying Saga's image.

"So that's it!" Riku's eyes widened in understanding. "If Saga is a fusion of Zero, Dyna, and Cosmos, then maybe… with the capsules, Zero could merge their power and ascend to Saga!"

"Let's go test it out."

Zero's voice carried an edge of determination as he strode toward the elevator. Yu Zhou, Riku, and the others quickly followed.

They arrived at a remote wilderness—an empty expanse where no one would witness the appearance of giants.

Though Zero could shrink to human size, Yu Zhou insisted they test properly. After all, true fusion power could only be measured in giant form.

With Leito's body serving as host, Zero summoned his true form in a burst of light. The shining warrior raised the two capsules, channeling their power.

The phantoms of Dyna and Cosmos appeared at his sides, then surged into Zero's body. A radiant glow erupted, enveloping him completely.

"Did… did it work?" Riku shielded his eyes, trying to make out Zero's form through the blinding light.

Yu Zhou frowned slightly. "It worked, but… not completely. He didn't become Saga."

The glow receded, and Zero's figure came into view. His appearance was almost unchanged—save for one detail. His color timer now pulsed not in blue or red, but in pure, shining light, just like Saga's.

"It seems I couldn't transform into Saga after all," Zero admitted, glancing down at himself. "But the power flowing through me feels… incredible."

To prove it, he formed a blazing sphere of energy and hurled it at a nearby mountain. Boom! The explosion shattered a massive boulder into rubble.

Yu Zhou nodded. This outcome was within his expectations. Saga wasn't a form to be summoned casually. In the movie, it had required a miracle—a fusion of hearts, bonds, and a mysterious power beyond ordinary strength.

Here, with only capsules and no such miracle, expecting Saga to appear was unrealistic. Still, this half-fusion form was already a remarkable achievement.

Besides, Zero already carried the legacies of Dyna and Cosmos within him: Strong Corona Mode and Luna Miracle Mode—forms he had yet to reveal in this world.

After finishing the test, Zero released his transformation and returned to Riku's side.

"Looks like it's not that easy," Zero sighed, shaking his head with a wry smile.

"It's fine," Yu Zhou replied calmly. "In the end, defeating Belial still falls to Riku."

The time was drawing near—Belial's return was imminent. Preparations had to be made.

First, Laiha would need to seek out the Ultraman King, to restore the Light of the Little Star within her and hand over the King Capsule to Riku. With it, Geed would gain his Royal Mega-Master Form, and finally stand a chance against Belial.

Yet Yu Zhou also pondered another possibility.

Cosmos was the Ultraman of kindness and purification. Perhaps his purifying light could cleanse Belial? If Belial's evil was bound to a parasitic soul, then perhaps… that soul could be driven out.

"Zero, can you reach Cosmos?" Yu Zhou asked suddenly.

Zero shook his head. "Not at the moment, no."

Yu Zhou rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

"What are you thinking?" Zero asked, puzzled.

"I was wondering if there's a way to force the Reiblood's soul out of Belial's body," Yu Zhou explained. "If so, he might be freed."

Riku leaned forward eagerly. "How? Tell us!"

"Cosmos' purifying light," Yu Zhou said firmly. "If Zero uses Luna Miracle Mode, Geed uses his Acro Smasher form, and Cosmos joins in… if all three release purification together, it might be enough to cleanse Belial."

"That sounds amazing!" Pega's eyes sparkled, clearly imagining the scene.

"It's a great plan," Zero agreed, "but without Cosmos, it won't work. For now, it's just you and Riku."

The idea hung in the air, fragile yet hopeful.

Back at Nebula House, Yu Zhou wasted no time. He urged Laiha to seek out Ultraman King.

The King, already aware of the looming threat, restored the Light of Little Star within her and passed the King Capsule to Riku. Even though the capsule left Laiha's body, she could still hear the King's voice within her soul—an eternal bond since the day he had saved her life.

With the King Capsule now in Riku's hand, Yu Zhou allowed himself a breath of relief. Against Belial, they finally had a trump card.

As for Fukude Kei—after his defeat as Pedanium Zetton, he had disappeared entirely. Yu Zhou had searched, but found no trace.

The King had hoped to use Kei's Sturm Organ to save Belial, but without Kei, that path was closed. Still, Yu Zhou knew enough of the story: Kei's body, having hosted Ultraman Capsules, was already undergoing transformation. Belial would inevitably target him for power.

If they could capture Kei first, perhaps Belial's resurrection could be stopped.

Time passed.

Then Laiha received word from the King himself.

Belial was coming.

"Riku, get ready for battle."

In the underground base of Nebula House, Yu Zhou rarely looked so grave.

"Got it!" Riku's expression hardened. He immediately leapt into the elevator, racing to join Zero.

The decisive war… was about to begin.
