Yu Zhou stared speechlessly at the two gigantic bird eggs lying before him.
So that's where Camearra had gotten those Zoigers from… she must have raised them starting with these eggs.
"It's fine. Leave these monsters to me," Yu Zhou said calmly.
He asked Camearra to put the Zoiger eggs away, then turned toward the swarming Zoiger flock circling above the wasteland.
Under the astonished gazes of Camearra, Hudra, and Darramb, the Dark Sparklence in Yu Zhou's hand unfolded — black patterns spreading like wings. A surge of dark particles enveloped him, and in the next instant, his body expanded and solidified into a towering fifty-meter silver-and-black giant — Ultraman Tiga's dark form.
"So that's how he transforms…"
The three of them watched the entire process, still struggling to comprehend how a human could turn into such a massive being with just a crystal-like staff.
The Zoigers in the air shrieked and launched a storm of fireballs downward.
Yu Zhou raised a hand — a black energy barrier flared to life, intercepting every blast.
Flames and shockwaves scattered across the field as the bombardment broke harmlessly against his shield.
The nearby Silvergon monsters were startled by the explosions, roaring as they lumbered toward the battlefield.
Yu Zhou didn't flinch. He had wiped out far more monsters than this — what were a few more?
Camearra, unwilling to let him fight alone, drew out her energy cannon from her space bracelet once more and fired beams into the charging monsters.
Yu Zhou, meanwhile, lowered his hand, his mind moving elsewhere.
"If Camearra wants to raise Zoigers… then maybe I shouldn't just destroy them."
He stepped forward and called out an artifact — the Giga Battlenizer materialized in his grip, dark and heavy as iron.
"Dark monsters… bow before me."
He stabbed the rod into the ground.
A pulse of violet energy surged from the colour timer on his chest, flowing straight into the rod.
It was the Reionics power — the ability used by the Reiblood aliens to control monsters.
Of course, Yu Zhou wasn't a Reionics.
He had simply absorbed the essence of a Reiblood soul and reshaped it into dark energy — making that power his own.
The purple energy burst upward like lightning and lashed out toward the sky.
The entire Zoiger flock was instantly bound by glowing violet chains, as were the Silvergons on the ground.
"Looks like Tiga has trapped them! Let's finish them off!" Darramb shouted, readying his cannon.
But Camearra raised her hand to stop him.
"Wait, Darramb. Look at them carefully."
The others followed her gaze — and indeed, the monsters weren't struggling. Their violent movements had stilled; their bodies trembled faintly, almost… obediently.
"They look… calm," Hudra muttered, surprised. "Like they're following orders."
The Silvergons stood motionless, no longer roaring. The Zoigers hovered silently overhead, wings beating without aggression.
Yu Zhou extended his arm.
"—Capture!"
At his command, the violet energy coiled tighter and pulled the monsters inward. In a flash, all the creatures were drawn into the Giga Battlenizer.
Inside, they shrank to miniature forms, roaring softly — not in rage, but as if announcing their submission.
Several Zoigers, a few Silvergons, even the Golza he had subdued earlier — all now carried the same dark sigil across their bodies, marking them as Dark Monsters under Tiga's command.
"Did Tiga just… tame them all?"
"Or… did he imprison them?" Hudra muttered, staring at the black rod half-buried in the dirt.
He could hardly believe it — just like that, an entire horde of monsters was captured.
Yu Zhou pulled the device free from the ground and released two of the Zoigers again.
The pair screeched happily, circling around him. The hostility they once held was completely gone — they now saw Yu Zhou as their master.
They landed beside him, bowing their heads.
Yu Zhou couldn't understand their chirping cries, but he could tell they were trying to communicate something.
"Right… now, how do we get out of here?" he mused aloud.
He turned to the two Zoigers. "Can you show us the way out? Back to the outside world?"
"Yee-yee-yee!"
"Yee-yee-yee!"
Both monsters cried excitedly in reply.
Yu Zhou sighed helplessly. "Yeah… I really should've learned monster language by now."
If only Charija were here — he could've translated whatever the two were saying.
Cancelling his transformation, Yu Zhou returned to human form and walked back toward Camearra and the others with a wry smile.
"What's wrong? Didn't you just tame those monsters?" Camearra asked.
"I did," Yu Zhou said with a laugh. "But I can't understand a word they're saying."
He turned to Hudra and Darramb. "Either of you happen to know monster speech?"
Both of them shook their heads in unison.
"Nope. Not a clue."
"Figures," Yu Zhou muttered. "Monsters have only appeared recently. No one could've mastered their language in such a short time."
Camearra rubbed the back of her neck awkwardly. "I don't know it either…"
"That's fine," Yu Zhou replied warmly. "I have another idea."
He stepped toward the Zoigers again.
Even though he was no longer transformed, they remained perfectly obedient, lowering their heads respectfully as he approached.
"Zoiger One, Zoiger Two — take us out of this place. Lead us back to the outside world!"
He gave his order clearly.
No translation needed — if they couldn't understand words, they could at least follow intent.
"Let's go!" he said, waving to the others.
"Got it!"
Hudra and Darramb exchanged glances, grinning. There was no better plan than this.
They walked toward the waiting Zoigers.
Camearra stood beside Yu Zhou, gently stroking one of the creatures' feathered heads.
"So, this is what a monster's skin feels like…" she murmured, amazed.
Yu Zhou chuckled. "Then, let's move out."
And with that, the group climbed onto the backs of the Zoigers as the creatures spread their massive wings — ready to soar out of the realm of darkness.
