Xin Ye got very scared and she didn't know where to run at that moment. Her heartbeat was fast and she was afraid to turn towards the emperor.
"Who are you? Outsiders are forbidden in my emperor's residence!", Chao Xiang said.
Chao Xiang pulled Xin Ye but Xin Ye didn't move from her place. The curtain was still on her face covering her.
"Uncle!", Cheng Xiao said in a panicked voice.
Chao Xiang turned and looked at his nephew. His nephew was tense. He ran and came near him.
"Why did you come here?", Cheng Xiao said.
Xin Ye looked at the bag in her hand and then she looked at a room which was open. She quickly hide behind Chao Xiang without showing her face to the king.
"Do you know her?", Chao Xiang asked his nephew and he raised his eyebrows. He looked more dangerous.
"Y...y...yes sh..she is my... She is my... Friend!", Cheng Xiao said. He was panicking.
"Really?", Chao Xiang asked. He took a step towards his nephew.
"Yes uncle. Why I will lie to you. She is my friend. I invited her here.", Cheng Xiao said.
"Why she is here? Why she ran when I told her to stop?", Chao Xiang asked.
"B... because she is afraid of you. You are the emperor that's why everyone respects you and are afraid of you. Actually I told her to go on morning walk as she wanted. She came here mistakenly. It wasn't her fault.", Cheng Xiao said.
"But you never had any women friends!", Chao Xiang asked.
Cheng Xiao bit his lower lip in tension.
"We know each other since childhood. We were friends in school.", Xin Ye said.
"Yes. She is my childhood friend.", Cheng Xiao said.
"Oh! Tell her not to come here from the next time. It can be dangerous. If you wouldn't have come at time then definitely I would put her in the prison. Tell her to take care from the next time.", Chao Xiang said.
"Hmm!", Cheng Xiao replied. Finally he took a sigh of relief.
Xin Ye looked at Chao Xiang. Chao Xiang looked into her eyes and his looking turned into staring. Xin Ye lowered her head.
"If they both will see this bag then they will definitely ask what's in it. I have to hide it. But where? Thank god that they didn't notice this bag.", Xin Ye thought.
"Let's go fast.", Cheng Xiao said.
Xin Ye and Cheng Xiao walked quickly. Chao Xiang looked at them and he got doubt.
"Wait!", Chao Xiang asked.
Xin Ye widened her eyes and looked at Cheng Xiao. Their feet stopped in place. Chao Xiang walked towards them. His every step increased their heartbeats. He stood in front of them. Xin Ye lowered her head as she wanted to hide her face. Then she hid behind Cheng Xiao.
"How did you know that she is here?", Chao Xiang asked.
"I saw her coming here. To stop her I came behind her.", Cheng Xiao said.
"But there are guards in the gate. Didn't my gurads stop her? Let me ask them. They are so careless. I will punish them.", Chao Xiang said.
Cheng Xiao and Xin Ye kept quiet. Xin Ye thew the bag inside the room and it slid perfectly under the bed. Luckily that room was already cleaned by the maid so for the next morning no one will look under the bed.
After throwing the bag Xin Ye stood quietly as she didn't know anything. Cheng Xiao held her hand and they both came out of the emperor's residence.
"What a weird lady? She even didn't tie her hairs! My hand got wet due to her the water which was dripping from her hair. I will tell my nephew to stay away from her.", Chao Xiang thought.
Cheng Xiao and Xin Ye came out of the palace. Cheng Xiao shrugged her hand and looked at her in anger. Xin Ye understood that she had made the prince upset.
"What was the need to go into my uncle's palace? It's good that I came there at time to save you otherwise you would be surely dead.", Cheng Xiao said. He was angry due to Xin Ye's careless act.
"I.. I'm sorry but I had some important work there.", Xin Ye apologized.
"But why didn't you inform me? My grandpa told me to save you at time. Do my grandpa also know that what you were doing? Are you both planning something?", Cheng Xiao asked. He was confused.
"Yes. Master knows everything. And I went there for some work.", Xin Ye said.
Cheng Xiao fanned himself with his handfan as he is blowing the stress away.
"Did the maid tell you?", Xin Ye asked.

Cheng Xiao came out of his room. When he came in the hall then a maid bowed in front of him.
"Your highness! Your friend is in emperor's residence. She told us to inform you.", The maid said.
"What? Emperor's residence!", Cheng Xiao asked and got tense.
Cheng Xiao quickly came out of the palace and he walked towards his uncle's palace. He saw his grandfather on his way.
"Where are you going young boy?", Kai Xiang asked.
"Xin Ye is in my uncle's palace.", Cheng Xiao said.
Kai Xiang got tense. He knew it that there might be some valid reasons for Xin Ye that she arrived there in hurry in this early morning.
"Go fast and save her. Don't let her come into any danger.", Kai Xiang said.
Cheng Xiao couldn't understand but still he nodded his head and headed towards his uncle's palace to take Xin Ye.

"Oh. I am sorry. You were sleeping that's why I decided not to bother you. From the next time I will take care and inform you whenever I will go anywhere.", Xin Ye said.
"Good.", Cheng Xiao said.
They both returned to the palace and had breakfast. Xin Ye was so hungry that she ate a lot without caring how she was looking. Cheng Xiao was shocked to see her and he thought that this lady has forgotten all the manners because she was eating like a hungry maniac.
Cheng Xiao coughed. He extended his chopsticks to hold the last piece of meat from the plate but before him Xin Ye grabbed the piece and ate it.
Cheng Xiao sighed. He only ate veg food items.
"Don't you think you are very different from all the ladies? Sometimes you behave like a man.", Cheng Xiao asked.
"From where I am a man! Bro I am a woman.", Xin Ye said and winked.
"Bro? What does it mean?", Cheng Xiao asked.
"Oh. For a moment I forgot it's ancient world.", Xin Ye mumbled.
Stop mumbling and answer to my question.", Cheng Xiao said.
"Bro means brother or you can also use it for friends who are male... I use it sometimes. It's very cool.", Xin Ye said.
"Cool! Means cold?", Cheng Xiao asked.
Xin Ye rolled her eyes. She understood that it's not easy for her to explain everything to the people who lives there.
"You are really weird. Don't talk. If you are done then you can go. I will take sometime in this breakfast table.", Cheng Xiao said.
Then Xin Ye came into her room. She tied her hair and made a ponytail. She applied makeup on her face which enhanced her beauty.
