Rihan slowly lowered the gun. "Wait. What is going on?"
Haejin chuckled and walked past them, heading for one of the couches. "I think we need to sit down. Maybe have a drink too?"
Rihan frowned, but he and Taeryn followed. They took the seats opposite Haejin, who crossed one leg over the other. Taeryn pulled a lollipop from his pocket and popped it into his mouth.
Haejin's gaze lingered. He looked curious. "You always carry those around?"
Taeryn gave him a flat look. "Am I supposed to answer you?"
Haejin scoffed and turned to Rihan. "Is he always a brat?"
Rihan rolled his eyes. "Can we move to business?"
"You mean the fact that you're no longer going to be my private detective?" Haejin sighed dramatically. "Disappointing."
Rihan's grip tightened on the gun.
