Chapter 176 - Chapter 176: I Have Been Waiting for You for a Long Time!

Truthfully, Fenric was no match for the Hulk in terms of raw strength in a one-on-one fight.

The reason the Chitauri commander feared him was not due to brute power alone, but because of Fenric's versatile abilities—abilities that, in many ways, far surpassed what the Hulk could achieve.

Take his Conqueror's Haki, for example. While it had little effect on true powerhouses, its ability to instantly incapacitate ordinary soldiers made it far deadlier than most weapons—perhaps even more effective than the entire Avengers team combined when dealing with large enemy forces.

The giant beasts received the Chitauri commander's order: stop Fenric at all costs.

Though clumsy in movement, their sheer numbers formed a formidable "monster wall" in front of him.

But the more they tried to block his path, the more it stirred Fenric's ferocity.

Fenric knew the truth about this invasion.

On the surface, it seemed like Loki's scheme, but behind the scenes, the true mastermind was none other than the "Mad Titan" – Thanos!

Loki was nothing but a pawn—a decoy.

"Tsunade, maximum energy to the thrusters!" Fenric commanded.

"Understood, Master."

Boom!

Flames erupted from Fenric's thrusters as he shot forward like a blazing comet, the black blade Shusui flashing in his grip. His Armament Haki enveloped the battle armor, adding another layer of lethal precision to his strikes.

One by one, the giant beasts fell as Fenric carved a bloody path.

"Puff!"

After minutes of relentless fighting, Fenric emerged from the body of a slain monster, his armor smeared with gore.

The blockade had finally been breached.

With no hesitation, he launched himself toward the largest Chitauri warship.

"Whizz—Whizz—"

Twin laser beams shot from the ship's cannons, cutting through the void like silent death.

Puff!

Fenric reacted a second too late—one of the beams slammed into him.

Boom!

The impact sent him flying, spinning uncontrollably.

The Chitauri's mothership-mounted energy cannons were no joke. The power behind a single shot was comparable to modern human missiles—and in the vacuum of space, there was no shockwave to warn him.

"Master, armor defense is down by 67%!" Tsunade's voice rang urgently.

Fenric gritted his teeth.

If not for his Armament Haki, that shot would have destroyed his armor outright.

Anger flared in his chest.

This wasn't just about the fight—he actually liked this armor, even if it was mainly a toy for flight.

And now, these alien tin cans dared to damage it?!

Fenric reignited his thrusters and surged forward, this time weaving sharply to avoid the aiming cannons. Another hit would mean the armor's end.

After a tense approach, Fenric finally landed on the warship's surface.

The massive vessel stretched for over a kilometer—an entire floating fortress.

On its deck, Fenric's figure looked insignificant, like an ant on the back of a dragon.

But the black blade Shusui gleamed coldly in his hands.

Without searching for an entrance, Fenric simply stabbed the blade into the hull, cutting through the steel as though it were paper.

"Haa—"

As soon as he tore open a gap, the internal air pressure rushed outward violently, creating a silent vacuum storm.

An ordinary human would have been sucked out instantly.

But Fenric, with his monstrous strength and Armament Haki, strode forward as if nothing had happened.

"Clang!"

A heavy blast door slammed down in front of him, attempting to block his advance.

Fenric sneered. "A mere door? Dream on."

Shing—Shing—

A few swift strikes from Shusui carved a gaping hole through the barrier.

From the corridor ahead came the pounding of boots.

A squad of fully armed Chitauri rushed at him, screeching, only to be cut down mercilessly in seconds.

Even knowing they were going to die, they threw themselves forward, desperate to delay him.

The Chitauri commander's plan was working—Fenric's progress slowed.

These new soldiers were smarter too, each wearing a reinforced helmet that greatly reduced the effect of Fenric's Conqueror's Haki.

When he unleashed it again, they merely froze for a moment, dazed but not fainting outright.

"Puff! Puff!"

One after another, the soldiers fell, torn apart by Fenric's blade. His kill count was astounding.

But he wasn't smiling. His expression was cold, focused, and furious.

"Tsunade, how far to the ship's core?"

"Approximately 70 meters, Master."

"Good. We're close."

As Fenric moved deeper, something changed.

The Chitauri soldiers vanished.

No more ambushes.

No more sealed blast doors.

It was as if the warship was deliberately letting him through.

"Something is wrong," Fenric muttered, his instincts on edge.

He discreetly tightened the grip on his Ark Ferry Ticket and checked the warp bracelet on his wrist.

If anything went wrong, he was ready to vanish in an instant.

Soon, he passed through a shimmering metal gate and entered a vast, empty chamber.

"Master, the Earthling is here."

A low, ominous voice broke the silence.

Fenric's gaze snapped toward the speaker—a black-robed figure.

He recognized him instantly. The Chitauri commander.

But what made Fenric's breath hitch was the figure standing beside him.

A towering warrior clad in heavy golden armor.

Skin purple as twilight, muscles like carved stone, standing easily over two meters tall.

Fenric's pupils contracted sharply.

The Mad Titan. Thanos!
