Chapter 183 - Chapter 183: Someone Is Targeting You! (7/8)

"You have a new communication request. Aurora Morwyn is inviting you to a video call. Please respond promptly."

Not long after entering Samsara Space, Fenric received the system notification.

He smiled faintly and chose to connect.

"Aurora, I was just about to look for you. I've got what you wanted," Fenric said.

On the screen, Aurora smiled warmly.

"Shura, thank you so much. And congratulations! You earned another super-god evaluation last night!"

"Don't be so formal. You've helped me a lot too. Helping you a little is nothing."

Fenric's words came from the heart.

Becoming friends with Aurora had benefited him immensely.

Her high status, vast connections, and abundant resources were invaluable.

The Mark VI armor he was handing over—despite its advanced technology—was just another toy to him. Fenric already had superior equipment. Giving this set to Aurora would allow her to make better use of it and gain new achievements.

"Shura, your accomplishments in Samsara Space are truly unprecedented," Aurora said with admiration.

"Between us, there's no need for such words. Do you want the armor now? If so, I'll give it to you right away."

"Then I'll trouble you." Aurora smiled. "Would you like to come over for some tea?"

Fenric shook his head.

"No need. I'm about to enter a dungeon. Drinking tea every day is boring—let's just meet at the Trading Center."

"Alright, that works too."

After ending the call, the two met at the Trading Center.

Under the notarization of the Samsara system, Fenric transferred the Mark VI Armor to Aurora.

"Shura, thank you."

Aurora wasn't overly excited when she saw the armor.

As expected, women's interests were different from men's.

She hadn't requested the armor for herself but for her organization's needs.

Special items could indeed be used in the real world.

As long as they weren't transferred to other Samsara players outside the system, the Samsara rules would not interfere.

"Between us, there's no need for thanks," Fenric said. "We'll probably be helping each other a lot in the future. If we thank each other every time, it would be troublesome."

Aurora chuckled softly.

"Fair enough. If you need my help, just say so."

Fenric nodded. "Good. Then I'll head to the dungeon now."

"Wait, Shura. I need to tell you something!"

Aurora's expression turned serious.

"Someone's targeting you. Certain forces have sent many Samsara players to purchase large numbers of dungeon cooldown refresh cards in Area C. The price of a single card has already been driven up to 2,000 Samsara points."

"A few people were supposed to hand over their cards to you today, but they've suddenly changed their minds. They want to resell the cards at these inflated prices instead."

"..."

Hearing this, a cold glint flashed in Fenric's eyes.

2,000 points meant little to him, but to most Samsara people, that was a fortune.

He couldn't win a price war alone.

Even with his ability to earn points, he couldn't outmatch an organized force.

If they sent a hundred Samsara players to buy up cards, the market would be cornered, and Fenric would be forced to pause his plans.

He could afford to buy one or two cards at 2,000 points, but bulk purchases would quickly drain his resources.

"Who's behind this?" Fenric asked coldly.

"It should be the Cindralock Dominion," Aurora replied.

Fenric gave a small nod, silently taking note of the grudge.

"I can use my contacts to get you a few more cooldown refresh cards," Aurora said. "But at most, I can probably secure five. Any more would be difficult."

"Alright, that's more than enough for now. I still have two on hand."

"Shura, didn't you just say we shouldn't be so polite?" Aurora Morwyn teased.

"Then I'll stop being polite."

Fenric smiled faintly.

After a brief pause, Aurora's curiosity got the better of her.

"Shura, I'm really curious. What's your current comprehensive strength rating? Rumor has it that you've reached A-level. Is that true?"

Fenric raised an eyebrow.

"Who's spreading that rumor?"

"It's from the people who ran the Avengers dungeon with you last night. They claimed they saw you kill one of the giant Chitauri beasts with a single punch. They even compared your strength to the Hulk. Based on your performance, they suspect your evaluation has broken into A-level."

Aurora Morwyn added in a lower voice, "This is why the Cindralock Dominion is going after you. You're rising too fast."

Fenric shook his head.

"Just rumors. My strength hasn't reached A-level yet."

He showed her the full moon emblem on his arm, where his current rating still displayed B.

Aurora exhaled with relief.

"Good. If you'd already reached A-level strength on the Seventh Stage, that would be terrifying."

Fenric didn't reply.

Though his official rating was B, with Thor's Hammer in hand, he could easily surpass A-level. In real combat, he could stand toe-to-toe with any A-level master.

"One more thing," Aurora said gravely.

"Domestic spies have been very active lately. Some have even hacked into the database, likely trying to uncover your real identity. Shura, you should keep a low profile for now."

"Got it," Fenric nodded.

But inwardly, his determination to grow stronger burned even brighter.

With enough strength, what would there be to fear?

"By the way, Shura, which dungeon are you tackling on the Seventh Stage tonight?"

"Kung Fu Hustle," Fenric answered.

Aurora blinked in surprise.

"I thought you'd choose the harder Midnight Ring!"
