The focus of this high-level meeting in the Cindralock Dominion was clear— Shura.
"This man is rising far too quickly. He's becoming a threat to us, and we must stop him as soon as possible!"
The President's firm tone set the tone for the discussion.
"Any updates from the Intelligence Bureau?" he asked.
The Director of Intelligence hesitated before replying, "Not yet. The target remains extremely low-key in real life. Please give us more time."
The President's face darkened with dissatisfaction.
A white-haired congressman sneered, "Give you more time? At this rate, no one will be able to stop Shura!"
The Director remained silent, unable to argue. He had been tasked by the President to uncover Shura's real identity, yet he had made no progress. He wasn't in a position to refute anyone.
"Why can't we try recruiting him?" someone suggested.
"We already tried. He refused."
"Perhaps our offer wasn't tempting enough? I don't believe anyone can resist the right price!"
"Don't count on it. Based on our intel, Shura is a loner. He refuses to align with any faction."
Another voice added cautiously, "I heard Shura plans to guide someone through a trial tonight. Maybe we could target that person?"
"Absolutely not! That person is related to the woman ranked just below Adam. If we touch her, it could start a war among Samsara players!"
"..."
The conference room filled with heated debate as various strategies were discussed.
The President finally interjected with a cold voice:
"Gentlemen, use your cunning as you would in business. If we don't stop Shura, he will become a direct threat to our power!"
Many attendees rolled their eyes inwardly. Did he have to put it so bluntly?
At that moment, the Director of Intelligence spoke up, "Sir, I've received information that Shura is having that woman purchase a large number of Dungeon Cooldown Refresh Cards for him. He intends to clear dungeons daily. We can interfere with this plan!"
"How do you propose we stop him?"
"We can dispatch our own people to Zone C to buy out the cooldown refresh cards in bulk, making it harder for him to obtain them. If we drive up the price and control the supply, we might slow down his progress. It won't stop his rise entirely, but it will delay him!"
"..."
"..."
The room fell silent for a moment as everyone processed the idea.
Then, their eyes lit up.
"This plan is good. Implement it immediately!" the President ordered.
It was the only feasible strategy for now.
The rules of Samsara Space were too strict—killing could only occur inside a dungeon.
High-tier Samsara players like Adam could no longer enter low-level dungeons.
And in the same-tier dungeons, who could possibly match Shura?
After finalizing the plan, the meeting adjourned.
The President, however, asked Adam to stay behind and escorted him to the private study in the White House.
"General Will, please, have a seat."
The President's tone was polite, almost respectful.
"Mr. President, do you need something from me?" Adam asked, sitting down calmly.
"I heard you're planning to attempt the 31st floor of the Samsara Tower?"
Adam nodded. "Yes."
"Are you confident? If you're not, don't take the risk. You know how important your existence is to us, Will."
Adam smiled faintly. "Don't worry, sir. If I weren't confident, I wouldn't act rashly."
"Good. Stay safe."
Adam rose from his seat, "If there's nothing else, Mr. President, I'll take my leave."
"Alright, until next time."
As Adam walked out of the study, a cold glint flickered in his eyes.
The President might act as though he cares, but deep down, he's afraid. Afraid of me becoming too strong… too uncontrollable.
Adam sneered inwardly. These politicians are terrified of me.
But their fear would not stop him.
He would break through the 33rd floor of the Samsara Tower, seize its authority, and ascend to the position of a true "God."
Then, he would trample these politicians beneath his feet!
Morning – Fenric's Side
Fenric was woken up by his father.
"Ric, it's eight o'clock! Why aren't you at school yet?"
"Overslept," Fenric replied casually. Then, noticing the tired look on his father's face, he asked, "What's wrong? Haven't you resigned yet?"
"Not yet," Father Eric said with a weary smile. "The boss hasn't found a replacement, so I'll be working for a few more days."
Fenric sighed and shook his head. "I'm heading to school."
Everyone had their own path to follow.
Fenric had already given him a million as compensation, but his father was stubborn. There was no point in arguing about it anymore.
After grabbing a quick breakfast on the way, Fenric walked to school.
Truthfully, he wanted to test Mjolnir's power, but its destructive potential was far too great. He decided to hold off for now.
By the time he arrived, it was already nine in the morning—clearly late.
Fortunately, the college entrance exam was only four days away, and the teachers were too focused on review sessions to bother about punctuality.
When Fenric entered the classroom, he heard many students still buzzing about Shura's legendary feat from last night.
He simply smiled and ignored them.
Compliments were nice once or twice, but after hearing them endlessly, they lost their charm.
The fat boy Jitto hadn't shown up at school today—wherever he was, Fenric didn't care much.
He took out his phone and started browsing.
As expected, "Shura" was trending everywhere online.
Three SSS-rated accomplishments in one night—Shura had taken the gaming world by storm.
The internet was flooded with praise.
Fenric skimmed through the comments briefly before heading straight to the Samsara Forum, opening the Strategy Section.
There, he found a guide for the 7th Stage of the Samsara Tower.
When Fenric saw the names of the two dungeons available on that floor, he froze.
