Chapter 20: Dual Profession
BOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!
As the spear sliced through the core of the world, a giant explosion occurred. Sam immediately deployed millions of mana barriers. The blast was so enormous that his mana barriers began to break one by one. Sam barely hung onto his feet.
The whole world exploded. Everywhere he looked, there was only destruction. Ragnarok, the fire giant, then exploded as well, creating a blast so massive that all of Sam's remaining barriers shattered.

After all the barriers he had made broke, Sam was somehow still standing within the explosion. The explosion was so dangerously vast that the five planets nearest to the blue star were also destroyed, and Sam was caught at the very center of the cataclysm.
The explosion subsided after an hour. Sam had barely received any damage thanks to his shields and armor, but if he hadn't deployed his barriers in time, he would have taken catastrophic damage.
After Sam cleared the dust from his body while floating in the air with his beautiful jet black wings of fallen angel , he saw that the entire world was gone.

There were wrecks of the destroyed planet scattered all across space. Sam stared at the void with his golden glowing eyes and a cold, detached expression.
Then, a system notification appeared.

Congratulations! The host has successfully destroyed the entire blue star into ashes.
The rewards for completing Quest-2 are now loading...
While the system window was loading, Sam looked at the remnants of the destroyed blue star. He raised his hand forward, his eyes glowing intensely as he spoke a single word.
"Resurge."

As soon as Sam said that, a red aura flowed from him, spreading throughout the entire destroyed area. Wherever the aura spread, it began creating spirit-type undead summons. These new undead could fly.
Once the creation process was complete, all the undead floated toward Sam. Their numbers were so extravagant that they looked like a massive herd of ants from a distance. The undead gathered closely around Sam.

All the undead came in front of Sam and bowed their heads, showing their absolute loyalty. At that moment, Astra appeared.

As Sam said that, a dark light began to glow around him. Sam again started to feel like his muscles were torn apart. The process was painful, but Sam had suffered far worse—it was nothing to him. As the black light faded, a notification appeared.
