Chapter 47 - KRYPT-Ch.47: Discussion About Natalie's Situation

University Management

Oxford

"Conor, tell me what you think!"

The vice principal lit a cigarette and asked in an unfathomable tone, "Why can't the two of them be in the same class?"

Director Conor Wallace sorted out his thoughts and then began to explain his reasons.

"As for Natalie Russell's ability to receive such an outstanding mission evaluation in the first layer of the supernatural realm this time, I personally believe that her strength certainly played a big role, but the main reason should be her extraordinary luck!"

"Since the birth of the supernatural realm, how many heroes have emerged? Some powerful individuals are even more talented than Natalie, and with the assistance of excellent teammates, they can only obtain an S-Grade mission evaluation at best."

"Natalie Russell, with a teammate of such useless ability, was able to achieve an unprecedented SSS-Grade perfect evaluation. If it wasn't incredible luck, it's simply inexplicable."

"But!"

"Luck is something you can't see or touch. Just because it appears once doesn't mean it will appear every time."

"Now that Natalie Russell has laid such an excellent foundation, we should pay more attention to her upcoming journeys to the supernatural realm and not let her make any mistakes!"

"My idea is to equip Natalie Russell with the best teammates among the freshmen starting from the second layer of the supernatural realm."

"As for that young man named Matthew Atkinson, he can no longer team up with Natalie Russell. If she doesn't have such luck next time, he will only be a hindrance to Natalie Russell."

"It's so hard to find a genius like her. We can't let her die like this."

"Of course, I know that guy has a special relationship with Natalie Russell. Young people always have some immature ideas."

"To prevent Natalie Russell from acting impulsively, my suggestion is not only not to have them in the same class, but also to transfer Matthew to another university. As long as they are separated, I believe that over time, she will understand the university's good intentions."

After hearing what Director Wallace said, many people in the conference room showed surprised expressions.

He actually wanted to kick that student named Matthew out. Wasn't Director Wallace a bit too harsh?

But, although it was cruel, what Director Wallace said did make sense.

This time, Natalie Russell was able to obtain an unprecedented mission evaluation in the supernatural realm because she was fortunate. Everyone agreed on that.

Otherwise, it was impossible to explain how she could get an SSS-Grade in the supernatural realm with a teammate of useless ability?

The Flame-Flame Fruit was not a particularly powerful ability among the Logia-type Devil Fruits.

But everyone's luck would run out one day.

The most rational choice now was to pair Natalie with excellent teammates to prevent her from continuing to make mistakes.

A director hesitated and said, "That student, Matthew Atkinson, hasn't committed any obvious offenses, nor has he violated any school rules. Transferring him arbitrarily is probably unacceptable, isn't it? His family will definitely make a scene."

"Then let's talk to his parents first."

Director Wallace said calmly, "I heard that Matthew didn't train much at the university last month. He seems to be giving up on himself. A student like him who doesn't strive for progress shouldn't be at The University of Oxford in the first place."

"I believe his parents will understand."

At that moment, a manager from the admissions office suddenly spoke up, "Director Wallace, I was the one who recruited Natalie Russell. You might not know this, but she's quite stubborn. Many prestigious universities wanted to recruit her, but her only requirement was that she attend the same university as Matthew Atkinson."

"The two of them were classmates in high school for three years. Moreover, the Flame-Flame Fruit that Natalie possessed originally belonged to Matthew Atkinson. It was this guy who willingly exchanged his Flame-Flame Fruit with Natalie's Kryptonian Bloodline Card!"

"The relationship between these two people is definitely not ordinary!"

"If Natalie were an ungrateful, indifferent person, it would be fine, but she isn't!"

"Judging from her request to attend the same university as Matthew Atkinson, and her insistence on teaming up with him upon entering the supernatural realm... Natalie will definitely not abandon Matthew Atkinson."

"Director Wallace, I'm not disputing your opinion. I'm just afraid that if we interfere with them like this, it will backfire and cause them to rebel. Don't let Natalie Russell get angry and take Matthew Atkinson with her to another university. That would be a complete loss."

"After this record-breaking event, I'm sure many universities will be eager for them to transfer in. So, they can get a great deal..."

These words made Director Wallace frown deeply.

"Are we just going to watch Natalie Russell continue to make mistakes with that loser?"

"I think that student Matthew Atkinson can no longer be called useless. He received 350 attribute points this time, which is enough to make him stronger than ordinary students. Even those students with above-average abilities may not be as strong as he is."

That was true. Three hundred fifty attribute points, even if given to an ordinary person, can create a person with good strength.

Even Director Wallace himself was stunned for a moment.

He had overlooked this before.

Now that he thought about it, it seemed that Matthew Atkinson was no longer weak.

However, he was the one who put forward the previous opinion, and changing his words now was a bit of a slap in the face. Where would his authority as the director be then?

"Then let's communicate with Natalie Russell first and see what her attitude is." Director Wallace said.

No one objected to this proposal. They would just test Natalie Russell's attitude.

It would be great if Natalie Russell could agree to the university's arrangement.

Natalie Russell

Oxford

Very soon, Natalie was called to the conference room.

Director Wallace beamed immediately and said, "Student Natalie, we're discussing your situation. First, congratulations again on achieving such an excellent result in the first layer of the supernatural realm! For your future, the university plans to assign you some outstanding teammates."

"Assign me teammates?"

Natalie immediately understood Director Wallace's intention.

"Are you planning to ignore university rules and forcibly interfere with students' right to choose teammates?"

As soon as these words came out, Director Wallace was suddenly embarrassed and didn't know what to say.

A female teacher nearby wanted to flatter the director and immediately said, "Natalie, we are doing this for your own good."

This sentence was very annoying for Natalie.

When someone said this, they were probably trying to justify their behavior or suggestion.

Many people wanted to force their own ideas on others under the guise of "it's for your own good."

"Please don't do this for me, I don't need it!" Natalie said coldly.

It was very disrespectful to rebuke a teacher in this way, and Natalie was normally not an impolite person.

But she was very clear about these people's intentions. They wanted someone else to replace Matthew, believing that Matthew would be a burden to her.

But what these people didn't know was that the girl had a clear understanding of her own strength.

She didn't think that she could get such a mission evaluation in the supernatural realm!

Even if she were extremely lucky, it wouldn't work.

The reason for all this was probably Matthew.

Matthew had made a deal with Natalie beforehand: in exchange for Natalie taking the credit, Matthew would ensure she achieved the best results ever in the supernatural realm.

Natalie, of course, didn't believe him at the time. Still, she didn't know how, but Matthew had somehow managed it and actually kept his word.

Natalie wasn't sure, but it was highly likely that Matthew had uncovered the secret of the Kryptonian Bloodline.

That meant Matthew possessed one of the rarest abilities ever. No one here understood, but she was the one who benefited from their teaming up, not Matthew.

And Natalie has no intention of breaking her arrangement with Matthew, especially when they're both profiting from it.

Of course, she wouldn't say this to these people.

Since Matthew chose to keep a low profile, Natalie didn't want to ruin Matthew's plan.

In addition, Natalie now had the confidence to say no to these teaching and university staff who like to give her random advice!
