Lady Anya's eyes flickered as she glanced at the arrogant Earl Leon, and she said softly, "The Kleber barbarians are well-equipped; they are worth a little attention."
Earl Leon's face showed unconcealed disdain as he said, "When the sun rises, the barbarians without mud will not be able to withstand the charge of the Valley Knight."
Ser Jeewood's voice held a hint of mockery as he said, "Indeed, there's no mud, but they do have the high walls of Seagull Town."
Lord Horton shook his head slightly and said, "The Crab Claw Peninsula archers are still resting in the camp outside the city tonight; Earl Kleber couldn't have expected the Valley's counterattack to come so quickly. And..."
He looked at Earl Leon: "If I'm not mistaken, Earl Baelish once served as the tax collector in Seagull Town. I imagine he still has quite a few 'friends' there."
Earl Leon's lips curved slightly as he said, "Lord Horton, your insight is sharp."
As his words fell, Ser Jeewood laughed heartily, saying, "This is another piece of good news I've heard tonight."
Earl Leon raised his chin, gestured with his cup, and said, "Gentlemen, for the honor of the Valley."
Lady Anya had an elegant smile on her face. As she reached for the wine glass on the table, she suddenly felt something amiss. The corner of her eye caught sight of the silver goblet vibrating slightly?!
Lady Anya quickly realized that the strange sensation came from the ground beneath her feet. She grabbed the table with one hand and stood up from her chair, urgently saying, "What's happening?"
Outside the tent, a sudden cacophony of sounds erupted. Ser Jeewood, sensing trouble, was the first to lift the tent flap and step out of the camp.
He first cursed a few times, and then... as his gaze moved to a certain spot, his entire body froze, and he mumbled, "Seven Hells..."
In the distance, he saw a sea of flames surging towards the Valley's camp, the flames dancing in the night as if alive.
The moonlight was obscured by dark clouds, and the land was pitch black, with only faint flickers of fire in the Valley's camp.
Suddenly, a deafening roar of oxen and the thundering of hooves broke the night's silence, and the ground seemed to shake.
Immediately after, countless fire oxen surged from the darkness like a flood towards the Valley's camp.
The herd of fire oxen charged into the camp. This sudden anomaly caused the Valley soldiers and Sellswords to collapse almost instantly, scattering in panicked flight.
The fire oxen rampaged, some soldiers impaled by the sharp blades on their horns, others trampled by hooves, and some burned by the flames... Screams, wails, and the roars of oxen intertwined, plunging the entire camp into chaos.
"Fight for Lord Green!"
Ser Pel raised his sword and roared. Following the herd of fire oxen, over 3,000 Cleber Soldiers, under his command, charged into the Valley camp.
Lady Anya's pupils widened: "Gods, save us..."
Earl Leon stared at the mess before him, his gaze blank: "It's over... It's all over... This is magic... This is evil magic... Ugh!"
Suddenly, a strong ox with glowing red eyes and a flaming tail charged at him, directly impaling Earl Leon into the roaring inferno.
That night, it wasn't until dawn that the Kleber Soldiers put away their blood-soaked weapons.
At noon, Seagull Town, enveloped in a somber atmosphere, held a grand banquet open to everyone, with roasted beef as the main course.
Inside the Lord's Hall.
Lord Green always controlled his alcohol intake, but today he drank cup after cup, toasting with everyone.
Ser Pel, his face flushed from drink, stood up, raised his goblet high, and shouted, "To Lord Green's health!"
Everyone loudly echoed, "Long live Lord Green!"
Ser Pel then shouted, "Long live Whispering Fort!"
Everyone roared, "Long live Kleber!"
"Fight for Lord Green!"
"Long live! Long live! Long live!"
"Roar! Roar! Roar!"
Ser Pel, swaying, actually led a group of people... laughing as he danced the "Kleber Victory Dance (Chapter 74)"... Looking at the dancing crowd below, Green leaned back in his chair, a smile involuntarily playing on his lips.
Green was thinking... when they sobered up, if the stern household knights recalled what they had done today, their expressions would surely be very interesting.
In the Thorn Legion's seating area, Raina first let out a giggle, then she laughed heartily, patting Impa's back. After a moment, she said, "Lioness, this... Is he really our Ser Pel? Hahahaha!"
Impa observed carefully for a while and said, "He must be drunk."
She reached out and ruffled Raina's hair, then added, "Stop laughing, you're spraying wine everywhere."
Raina, clutching her stomach in discomfort, nodded, then she suddenly glanced in Green's direction and whispered, "Impa, look at our Lord, he wants to laugh too, he's holding it in with great difficulty. You have to trust a hunter's eyes."
Hearing this, Impa curiously shifted her gaze, only to meet Green's eyes. Her Lord smiled and raised his cup to her.
Impa, feeling a little guilty, raised her cup, and Raina, who saw everything, immediately burst into laughter.
Raina, with a beaming smile, hugged Impa and teased, "Lioness, I don't mind sharing you with others."
Impa extended three fingers and pushed Raina's forehead, saying, "Don't talk nonsense."
Seeing Impa's serious expression, Raina changed the subject: "Impa, I heard that according to Kleber's military achievements, at least 100 people will be knighted."
Impa took a sip of wine and said, "Your military achievements are sufficient."
Raina blinked and said, "Will you and Ser Pel preside over our knighting ceremony?"
Impa looked at Raina and replied, "I don't know about others, but you should be personally knighted by Lord Green."
Raina's eyes lit up: "Really?! Did Lord Green tell you that?"
Impa Thornes shook her head slightly and said, "I guessed it."
As evening approached, Green put down his wine glass; he felt he needed some fresh air. Green rose from his chair, motioned for those around him who were about to rise to stay seated, and then stepped out of the Lord's Hall, with Brienne Tarth following closely behind him.
The sun was setting in the west, and the clouds in the sky were dyed a golden hue.
