Prime Minister Davos remained silent, and Stannis said coldly, "Quiet."
Then he looked at Davos: "Continue, I want to hear your reasons, my Prime Minister."
Prime Minister Davos turned to face Ser Axell and slowly said, "You want the Seven Kingdoms to know that we have not failed, so you need to take the initiative to find new opportunities for war. This may not be wrong... But who is our enemy? There are no Lannister on Crab Island."
Ser Axell raised his voice, "There are traitors on Crab Island. Lord Ardrian Celtigar betrayed the King."
Prime Minister Davos directly asked, "Are there also traitors at House Clebber's Mermaid Port?"
"You... you!" Ser Axell glanced at King Stannis, and a look of fear flashed across his face.

After a pause, he added, "It was news my second son heard in a tavern at the port."
Seeing Stannis's gaze shift to him, Ser Axell quickly explained, "King, they were careless... They just wanted to resupply at Mermaid Port. It was a misunderstanding... I only learned of this recently myself."
"A misunderstanding... or bandits flying the King's banner?"
Stannis snorted coldly and said to Davos, "My Prime Minister, I do not need bandits serving me. Deal with them according to the law; do not let anyone off."
Ser Axell frantically advised, "King, our morale is unstable; this is not the time to..."
Stannis interrupted coldly, "I am not a bandit chief, nor will I keep those who refuse to obey. If I tolerate their crimes because of a moment of weakness, that would be a true failure, a complete failure."
As his words fell, Lord Davos bowed slightly to his "God," while Ser Axell opened his mouth, but under Stannis's intimidating gaze, he dared not speak further.
After a pause, Davos's voice sounded: "King Stannis, Lord Green is not our enemy. Please allow me to write him a letter."
The corner of Stannis's mouth curved imperceptibly, and he said, "Smuggler, you've learned to write?"
Lord Davos looked up at King Stannis and replied respectfully, "One of my officials... he writes very well."
Stannis nodded slightly, saying, "I leave it to you, my Prime Minister."
He added, "Let's continue with the previous topic. Davos, you may continue."
Davos placed his hand on his chest and said, "As you command, King Stannis."
He pondered for a moment, then slowly began, "Lord House Celtigar... I don't doubt he bent the knee to Joffrey. We all know he's an old man with not much time left, and his only wish is to live out his days in his castle, drinking fine wine from jeweled cups every day."
He looked at King Stannis: "Yet, when you summoned him, that old man came. He came with his ships and soldiers to support you. Facing Renly's vast army, he fought alongside you at Storms End. Later, he sailed his ships into the Blackwater River, fought for you, died for you, and was burned for you."
After a pause, he continued, "Yes, Crab Island's defenses are indeed lax. There are only women, children, and old people there... because their husbands, sons, and fathers died on the Blackwater River, died under our banner. That is the reason."
His voice rose slightly: "Yet, Ser Axell proposes that our army pounce on their homes, rape their wives, and kill their children. King Stannis, the people of Crab Island are not your traitors..."
Davos's words were rudely interrupted by Ser Axell: "Lord House Celtigar's men were not all wiped out on the Blackwater River. Hundreds of soldiers were captured along with their lord and bent the knee with him."
