Chapter 427 - Chapter 427 : Before she could finish her sentence

Before she could finish her sentence, Ser Jaime suddenly stood up, "I've heard enough, Cersei."

Before turning away, he coldly warned, "I will not allow you to harm Tyrion."

It wasn't until Jaime had walked several steps that Cersei regained her senses. She angrily shouted, "Jaime! You damned Jaime, I order you, come back here at once!"

His snow-white cloak swayed in the gentle breeze as Ser Jaime strode away without looking back.

Lord Greene: "..."

Ser Jaime was uncharacteristically firm for once, but undoubtedly, the Lioness's anger he left behind would only be redirected to Tyrion.

According to Cersei's character, even though she was angry with Jaime, she would treat her Dwarf brother as the culprit of it all.

After a moment of rising and falling, the wine in the glass was drained by Cersei.

Her eyes were slightly red, and her emerald gaze was veiled by a shimmering mist, "Jaime left his mind in the Riverrun dungeon; he's changed."

"Ser Jaime's loyalty hasn't changed."

Whoosh, Green picked up the golden wine jug and poured her more wine.

"While recovering in maidenpool, Tyrion once asked Jaime who he would save first if both his sister and brother were in danger."

Putting down the wine jug, Green continued, "His answer was you, Queen Mother Cersei."

Cersei snorted softly, her lips curling into an almost imperceptible smile, saying, "Useless pity is foolishness. Jaime will never understand this truth."

Seemingly sensing Green's wandering gaze, her voice turned cold again, "He disappoints me too much!"

Her gaze shifted slightly, and her beautiful, misty eyes looked at Green, gently saying, "You give me peace of mind, only you, my dear knight."

"I am honored."

Looking at Green, who was feigning composure, Cersei's lips curved slightly. She shifted, and as she leaned back against the armrest, a small section of her snow-white calf was "naturally" revealed beneath her skirt.

"Dear Green, my plan is to make the Old Lion completely disappointed with his Dwarf son."

Green seemed to snap back to attention somewhat due to Cersei's voice, and he looked at her with a puzzled expression.

"The Old Lion has given him many tasks: the kingdom's finances, the rebuilding of the Blackwater River Dock, Dung Gate, and Kings Gate..."

Contempt flashed in Cersei's eyes. She thought Tywin was truly senile to trust his Dwarf son so much, which made her very angry.

Had the aging Tywin not yet realized who his true heir was?

She rested one hand on her slightly reddened cheek and continued, "I will arrange for someone to help the poor Dwarf. How about it, dear Green?"

Green shrugged and said, "That's a surprise, Queen Mother Cersei."

After staring at Green for a moment, Cersei's red lips parted slightly, "You already know my plan. Will you choose to be like Jaime, my dear?"

Green spread his hands, smiled, and said, "Queen Mother Cersei, is there anything I can do for you?"

Cersei slowly Rose, approached Green, leaned down, and lightly kissed his cheek, saying, "This is just an accident. We just need to watch the show."

This sharp sword, Green, was meant to counter the Old Lion. Cersei felt that the Cate Black brothers were enough to deal with a small Dwarf.

And Jaime would never understand that only by adding her wisdom could his sharp sword become even sharper.

Lord Greene was slightly worried... which part of the reconstruction would collapse with a bang. This was his King's Landing, ahem.

After thinking about it, Cersei wouldn't cause such a huge commotion. Although she wouldn't admit it, Green knew that the Lioness was actually afraid of the Old Lion's authority.

He thought about Tyrion's matter and smiled, "I imagine it will be spectacular. The Gods are merciful; if I were Tyrion, I would voluntarily exile myself from King's Landing."

"I hope so."

Cersei showed a triumphant expression. She reached out and linked her arm with Green's, saying, "Walk with me, my dear."

Green's gaze shifted slightly. As they walked, he said, "Queen Mother Cersei, I heard from Jaime that the Dornish also sent a surprise. I want to see Ser Osney."

"The Dornish love to dream the most," Cersei snorted coldly.

After a few steps, she continued, "The Cate Black brothers will be here in a while. You can wait, my dear."

...

In the afternoon, outside the Red Keep gate.

Little Steward Leyton scanned the surroundings and lowered his voice, "Lord Greene, are you suspecting that the Dornish might possess some intelligence about Targaryen?"

Green took the horse's reins from Brienne and said, "Prince Martell released news of Viserys this morning, right after arriving in King's Landing. Leyton, what do you think his purpose is?"

Leyton frowned and thought for a while, then said, "I can't guess, I'm sorry, my lord, I have too little intelligence on the Dornish."

Green reached out and patted Leyton's shoulder, saying, "Perhaps it's an accident, but even if we don't have intelligence, we can occasionally trust our feelings."

Leyton's pupils contracted slightly, and he said, "Lord Greene, you mean..."

Green rubbed his thumb against his index finger on his right hand and said, "My loyal Leyton, making some preparations in advance is at least not a bad thing."

"Yes, Lord Greene."

Green swung himself onto his horse and said, "Go scout over there. If Tyrion... he shouldn't run into danger. Hide yourself well and don't let the Dornish eyes spot you."

As he was about to reach the Hook Alley mansion, Green's gaze shifted slightly. He tightened the reins, slowing down the horse beneath him.

Slowly stopping his horse, Green assessed Ser Bronn, who was standing at the alley entrance, bowing with a smiling face towards him, then dismounted.

As Green approached, Bronn bowed again with an elegant posture, "Please forgive my presumption, good day, noble Duke."

Green first looked around, then glanced at the 'burning green chain on an ash-colored field' sigil on Bronn's chest, and said, "Ser Blackwater, you seem to be waiting for me?"

"As wise as you are."

He nodded slightly and replied, "Yes, Lord Tyrion sent me. He and the Prince of Dorne are at Tasha's shop. My lord has invited you on behalf of Prince Oberyn Martell."

After speaking, he revealed a lewd smile.
