Ryuuto calculated quickly—running back would take too long. He thought of Hela.
Hela hadn't appeared in Marvel's movies much, only in the comics and anime, but Ryuuto trusted her like a living Super-Transfer tool. And conveniently, she shared a trait with the Red Devil: teleportation.
Shouting Hela's name silently in his mind, he barely blinked before she materialized in front of him. Without hesitation, Hela's teleportation whisked Ryuuto away from the chaos.
Upstairs, Emma Frost reached to invade his consciousness again—but found… nothing. Ryuuto's mind had vanished. She scoured the first floor, surprised to see no one. Little did she know, Hela had already extracted him. Meanwhile, the Red Devil stayed close to protect Emma, ready for anything.
Ryuuto landed at the Xville Mutant School—less than ten meters from Arlo, where hurricanes clashed violently. His eyes went cold as he assessed the scene. Xiao—Lucien "Black King"—was nearby, likely part of a setup to distract him from the main battlefield.
He had no time for hesitation. First, the torrent creating the hurricane had to go.
"Oluo! Can you hold it?" he shouted.
Shaking her head, Arlo admitted she couldn't contain the storm alone.
Ryuuto pressed his hands to the ground, infusing it with Chakra, and burrowed beneath the raging hurricane. He roared:
"Earth Style·Earth Dynamic Core!"
A massive clod of soil shot upward from below the torrent. Calcifications like daggers couldn't touch it. The torrent tried to evade, but it was too fast—he was hurled into the air, and the hurricane collapsed instantly.
No time wasted, Ryuuto summoned Ten Thousand Snakes. The massive serpents emerged from the summoning formation above the torrent. One colossal snake lunged at the hapless mutant, teeth piercing and injecting venom that melted bone and muscle. The torrent was swallowed whole in a gruesome gulp.
Ryuuto quickly clarified to his summon, "It's the one with the helmet!"
Wan Snake's head twitched, then lunged at Lucien. Startled, Lucien tried to flee—but the Red Devil appeared just in time, whisking him away with expert precision. Lucien had reported his coordinates via communicator when the torrent was struck, ensuring the Red Devil could intercept.
After eating a mouthful of mud in frustration, Wan Snake muttered, "People in this world are far more troublesome than the Hokage world… although maybe Uchiha Madara could pull this off."
Ryuuto nodded. "Thanks, Wan She."
The massive snake gave a small smile, "Next time, if it's just you, don't summon me. One or two targets are enough for someone like you. I want a real feast."
Ryuuto smirked inwardly. He had the data packets of Rock Lee, Konohamaru, Akimichi Chōji, and Never Cut—he was confident he could take out Riptide and Lucien himself. But damn it, the Red Devil always complicated things.
A sudden noise behind him snapped Ryuuto's attention. Arlo had collapsed.
He rushed over, catching her in his arms. "Injured?"
"Not really… just collapsed," she whispered, lips pale. "The torrent mastered wind control far better than me. If you had been a few minutes later… I wouldn't have lasted."
"Where's everyone else?"
"Probably on the spacecraft," Arlo explained. "The torrent's power forced the professors to retreat. And my captain isn't here yet… he's probably waiting for me."
Ryuuto dashed toward the spacecraft location, leaving Arlo to recover.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Lucien snapped Emma across the face. She staggered back, almost hitting the table.
"Our plan was simple," Lucien barked. "You handle controlling Ryuuto! Riptide and I clean up X-Men! Yet Riptide gets eaten by Ryuuto, and I nearly got swallowed by that python! What the hell are you doing? When the Red Devil transported me and Torrent to the Mutant School, you said you had Ryuuto's mind under control! You promised I could do anything in the school!"
"Sorry," Emma said, covering her face. "I didn't anticipate this. When I tried controlling Ryuuto just now… he pierced his own heart with an iron rod. The pain forced me to release his mind."
"Pierced his heart?! Don't lie to me! If he did that… he should be dead!"
Emma shook her head, "It felt like the heart was pierced. I'm not lying."
