Chapter 237 - Chapter 237

"Haha! You think words like that can scare me? How naive and laughable!"

Rose's arrogance flared back instantly, his cold gaze drilling into Ryuuto as if he had seen through the kid entirely. The veins on his forehead throbbed violently, shoulders shaking as he bellowed, "Why should I believe you, brat?! Today, I'll skin you alive!"

"Ah, some folks just never learn, huh?" Ryuuto chuckled, spreading his hands lazily.

[Ding! New S-level Optional Mission Unlocked!]

[Defeat Rose and his elite army. Awaken Hulk Banner. Rewards: 20 life potions + Konoha Village ninja uniform set!]

Ryuuto's eyes sparkled. "Shion… spill it—what's so special about this ninja suit? This can't be just normal clothing, right?"

[Report, master! You haven't completed the mission yet, so the system won't reveal all the secrets.]

"Ugh! Don't hide things from me! We're practically best buds—stop acting all mysterious!"

[Don't worry, master. This mission is extremely difficult, but the rewards will be worth it. That ninja suit will be very useful.]

Ryuuto smirked. "Fine, that's all I need for now. Let's get to it."

Athena's—or rather, Shion's—voice faded, and Ryuuto felt a surge of raw power coursing through him. With nine Hokage data packets already in his arsenal, he was more than ready. This mission? He wasn't leaving without that ninja uniform. Anyone in his way… was toast.

"Boy! Why are you grinning like that?" Rose growled, irritation etched across his face.

"Nothing… just thinking, if I kill you, I wonder how much they'd pay for General Rose's head?" Ryuuto said casually, waving a hand. In his eyes, Rose and his army were nothing but sweet pastries—gold-plated mission loot waiting to be claimed.

"Hehe, Jiang Li, you really talk a good game," Natasha and Gwen chuckled, their confidence in him unshakable even amidst chaos.

"Enough talk! Kill them!" Rose roared, spittle flying as he pounded his fists on the command chariot. Guns raised, bullets flew—shell casings clattering to the ground.

Before a single round could hit, Ryuuto activated Rock Lee's High-speed movement. One hand wrapped protectively around Natasha, the other Gwen, and in a blink, he vanished—afterimages left streaking through the battlefield.

Mist Shinobi Technique!

Chakra flared violently from his palms, and a thick, white mist erupted from the ruins of the Pentagon. The entire area vanished behind a wall of fog so dense that even fingers couldn't be seen.

Rose's soldiers screamed, firing blindly into the swirling white chaos, panicked shouts cutting through the air.

"Asshole! What are you doing? You eating dry food one by one?!" Rose roared in frustration.

Seizing the moment, Ryuuto carried Gwen and Natasha safely outside the encirclement.

"Alright… showtime," Ryuuto muttered, summoning a beheaded sword in one hand. Glancing at Gwen and Natasha, he warned, "Stay safe. I won't allow a scratch on either of you."

"Jiang Li, what's the plan? What's next?" Gwen asked, steady and ready.

"Yes, we'll follow your lead. Protecting humanity is our responsibility!" Natasha said, fists clenched in determination.

"Simple. You two stay outside, pick off soldiers and tanks when opportunities arise. Don't overextend," Ryuuto instructed.

Shadow Clone Technique!

After downing a life potion, more than twenty clones erupted around him, all charging at Rose and his army like a violent storm. Battle was about to explode.

Natasha moved fluidly, her pistol slicing through the fog, taking out enemies from behind cover. Gwen, as Spider-Woman, spun massive webs to trap Rose's soldiers and super-soldiers, leaving them tangled and immobile.

"Trash! Send my tanks forward and carve a bloody path!" Rose bellowed, losing patience as his army struggled to navigate the mist.

"Sir, the fog's too thick! The enemy is cunning—many of our troops are injured and immobilized! Tank charges could lead to massive casualties!" one officer shouted, panic in his voice.

"Also, this is New York! We have to—" another added, dread heavy in their tone.

Ryuuto smirked behind the mist. Chaos was his playground, and the storm was only just beginning.
