Chapter 239 - Chapter 239

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

Without a shred of suspense, Ryuuto—transformed into a colossal human-meat chariot—crushed the invincible tiger tanks beneath him like they were nothing more than tin cans, each impact sending muffled thuds echoing through the battlefield. The sheer force made onlookers tremble, their hearts pounding in both awe and terror.

Inside the off-road vehicle, General Rose's face drained of color, his fists clenched so tightly his knuckles were white, teeth gnashing with sheer hatred.

"This… how is this possible? Is he stronger than the Hulk?"

For the first time, Rose's unshakable arrogance faltered, his entire body shaking as panic crept into his veins. His soldiers gulped, terror spreading like wildfire. If not for Rose's sheer force of will, they might have abandoned their posts entirely, fleeing a battle that seemed hopeless from the start.

"No! I will never surrender! No one in this world can stop me—not even Ryuuto!"

Rose's refusal to yield only made the soldiers around him gulp harder. Watching the army he had painstakingly built reduced to scrap in seconds, Rose's bloodshot eyes burned with murderous hatred.

A flicker of determination and vengeance sparked in his gaze. Shaking his head violently, he stared at the trembling subordinate beside him and barked,

"You! Execute the final plan—NOW!"

"General! W-wait! Think carefully, this—"

The soldier stepped back, stammering, as if the very idea of what Rose demanded was a death sentence in itself.

"No excuses! Get out of my way! Laozi will do it myself!"

With a violent shove, Rose sent the soldier sprawling. He twisted his body, opened a secret compartment in the off-road vehicle, and pulled out a suitcase brimming with intricate circuits—a superweapon capable of terrifying destruction.

"Ryuuto, you forced my hand! Humph!"

Gritting his teeth, Rose's massive hand traced over the sleek edges of the device like an art connoisseur admiring a masterpiece, finally settling on a red button. Finger on the trigger, he glared bitterly at Ryuuto, ready to unleash hell.

"You'll regret this! I don't believe you can just stand there and laugh!"

He pressed down. But… nothing. Not a single explosion, not a hint of chaos.

"What… what's going on?!" Rose's eyes went wide. The button had been pressed—he was certain—but the device remained dormant.

"Rose, how many more tricks are you planning? This ends now!"

Ryuuto strode forward calmly. Around him, the remaining soldiers loyal to Rose had mostly fled, and those who stayed were swiftly eliminated by a combination of Ryuuto's shadow duplicates and Natasha Romanoff's deadly precision. Bodies littered the battlefield.

"Impossible… impossible! How could it end like this?!" Rose's whole body broke out in cold sweat, disbelief twisting his face.

"Want to know why your superweapon didn't detonate?" A familiar voice rang out. Gwen, perched gracefully on a distant armored car, flicked her fingers. A mess of scrap metal and unconscious soldiers was all that remained.

"Simple. I dismantled your nuclear bomb long before you even pressed the button. Now it's just junk."

"Rose, your plan has completely failed! And what awaits you is the harshest punishment!" Gwen's arms were crossed, her voice full of authority and disdain.

Ryuuto nodded, a satisfied smirk on his face. "Well done, Gwen. Spider-gene at its finest."

"Asshole! I'll kill you!" Rose shrieked, pulling out his pistol.

Before he could even aim, a bullet zipped past, striking the back of his hand and sending the gun clattering to the ground. Natasha Romanoff, sniper at the ready, smirked triumphantly.

"Your turn, Red Mirage," she quipped.

Ryuuto gave her a thumbs-up, then whirled his beheading knife with lethal precision, severing Rose's legs in a spray of blood.

"This is exactly what you deserve."

Rose screamed in agony, clutching his wounds as his body curled up, utterly defeated. Neither Ryuuto nor Gwen spared him any mercy, only cold contempt for the evil man before them.

"Roar!"

Suddenly, the Hulk Banner appeared, pounding his chest and lifting a massive boulder, his eyes wild—ready to strike Natasha Romanoff.

"Crap! I forgot about Banner!" Ryuuto cursed, slapping his forehead. In a blur of High-Speed Movement, he shielded Natasha, glaring daggers at the bloodied Rose. No way was he letting Banner lose control.
