Chapter 246 - Chapter 246

"Gwen, hold on to me. I'll use high-speed movement to get us home faster."

"Okay!"

Gwen didn't even hesitate. She threw her arms around Ryuuto's neck, her heartbeat quickening as she pressed close.

Ryuuto wrapped one arm gently around her shoulders, then activated Rock Lee's combat module. His muscles tensed—then exploded into motion.

A swirl of dust. A flash of wind.

The two of them vanished—like they'd never even been there.

Moments later, they reappeared in front of Ryuuto's large modern house. Before he could even pull out the key, the door swung open on its own.

Three stunning figures stepped out—Susan Storm, Katie Dee, and Natasha Romanoff.

"Ryuuto! You're finally back! I missed you so much—come here!"

Katie didn't even bother to use the door. She phased through the wall like an excited ghost, throwing herself at him with open arms.

Gwen, still in Ryuuto's embrace, turned bright red and quietly stepped aside—but her hand refused to let go of his. Her fingers clung to him, shy yet unwilling to break the contact.

"Ryuuto, are you hurt anywhere?" Susan asked nervously, scanning him up and down. "Natasha told us about the fight. We were terrified!"

"Heh, you're exaggerating, Susan-san," Natasha teased, flashing a grin. "You just missed him too much."

She was confident. After all, she'd fought beside him against General Ross and even managed to calm down the Hulk. To her, the idea of anyone defeating Ryuuto was almost laughable.

"Hmph! You're one to talk," Susan muttered, blushing as her composure cracked.

Ryuuto laughed softly. "I'm in one piece, see? No need for such a grand welcome. Let's go inside before we draw a crowd."

The women exchanged quick smiles and followed him into the living room, where they settled together on a long, soft sofa. The mood was cozy—almost too cozy.

"Gwen," Susan said with a playful smirk, "that outfit of yours is so stylish. Should we start calling you Spider-Woman now?"

"Sister Susan flatters me," Gwen said with a modest smile. "I've only learned the basics. I still have a lot to catch up on."

The four women quickly fell into lively conversation. Despite their differences, they shared one thing—they all loved the same man.

Ryuuto sighed, half amused. "You girls talk all you want. I'll just sit here quietly and… maybe have a snack."

He grabbed a slice of bread and poured himself a glass of milk.

Katie leaned forward mischievously. "Brother, that milk you're drinking—it's from Sister Susan's glass."

Natasha added with a smirk, "And the bread? Katie took a bite out of that earlier."

Ryuuto froze mid-bite, then grinned. "Even better. I like the flavor."

Laughter filled the room.

For a moment, everything felt warm and lighthearted—until a voice suddenly broke through the peace.

"Yo, Ryuuto. Didn't think life was treating you this well. Looks like you've got it better than us in the Brotherhood."

The air turned cold. Everyone's smiles vanished instantly.

Ryuuto turned his gaze toward the intruder. "Quicksilver. You again?" His tone dropped to a dangerous calm. "How the hell did you find this place?"

The women immediately moved behind him, ready for combat.

"Oh, relax," Quicksilver said, raising his hands in mock surrender. "I came all this way to New York. You could at least hear me out before throwing me out."

Ryuuto's eyes narrowed. "Fine. Speak. But if you're wasting my time, I'll break your legs before you can blink."

He took a step forward, his aura flaring with quiet menace. "And don't test me, Pietro. If you try anything, even Magneto won't save you."

Susan, Natasha, Katie, and Gwen stood ready behind him—resolute, unflinching.

Quicksilver swallowed hard, sweat forming on his forehead, but forced a weak grin. "Yeah, yeah. I know your temper. But relax—I didn't come to fight. Not alone, anyway."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Ryuuto asked flatly.

Quicksilver clapped his hands. His smirk turned sly. "You'll see. I brought someone who's been dying to meet you again."

The room fell silent.

Then—thud!

A distorted figure dropped from the chandelier, hanging upside down with a crooked smile and a pair of cold, playful eyes.

"Hellooo, Ryuuto! Long time no see! I was getting impatient—I missed the way you dismantled me last time. Let's do it again!"

Ryuuto's eye twitched. "…Deadpool. You've got to be kidding me."

The red-suited mercenary flipped down to the floor with a flourish, spreading his arms wide like a bad stage actor.

"Aw, don't give me that look. You know you love me."

Ryuuto sighed, his patience thinning. "So that's your plan, huh, Pietro? You lured this idiot to my house?"

Quicksilver shrugged innocently. "What can I say? He insisted."

Ryuuto rubbed his temple. "This night just keeps getting better."
