"You…!?"
Quicksilver's bloodshot eyes went wide as his brain tried to process what had just happened.
But within seconds, his body went limp, and at the same time, Ryuuto himself slumped to the sofa. Gwen reacted instantly, stepping forward to catch him and gently guide him back onto the cushions, guarding him every step of the way.
"Huh? What's happening?" Deadpool scratched his head, tilting it like a confused puppy.
"Ryuuto will be fine, right?" Susan, Natasha Romanoff, and Katie Dee asked in unison, worry etched into every line of their faces.
"I'm fine. I just used a secret technique to dive into this kid's memories. Don't worry!" came a calm, almost teasing voice—from Quicksilver himself.
The trio tensed immediately, hands reaching for attack stances, ready to strike at the first hint of danger.
"Sister Susan, don't panic," Gwen explained quickly. "Ryuuto's soul is in Quicksilver's body right now."
"Wait… what? That's insane… and awesome!" Susan's eyes lit up, and Katie Dee couldn't help but grin proudly.
"Next," Ryuuto's voice came from Quicksilver's mouth, calm and controlled, "I'm going to dig deep into his memories. Deadpool, hold off for now. I'll fulfill your wish later."
"Got it! No rush, Boss! I'm all in whenever you say!" Deadpool nodded eagerly, bouncing on the spot like a hyperactive puppy.
Seizing the moment, Ryuuto plunged into Quicksilver's mind. The speedster fought back with every ounce of his cunning, trying to block Ryuuto's probing soul energy—but against Ryuuto's overwhelming power, resistance was futile.
After what felt like an eternity of digging through memories, Ryuuto surfaced with useful intel. No sign of Magneto's lair yet, but the Mutant Brotherhood had been recruiting soldiers aggressively and kidnapping scientists to develop lethal chemicals. The plot was enormous—and terrifying.
Ryuuto knew he needed to grow stronger fast. Time was a luxury he couldn't afford.
Moments later, he withdrew the Heart Turning Technique, exiting Quicksilver's body with an almost casual grace.
"You… you're not human!" Quicksilver shrieked, scrambling back, eyes wide with fury and fear.
"Shut up and take a look in the mirror first," Ryuuto retorted, yanking a hand mirror and holding it up to the bound speedster's face.
"If you make me mad, I won't hesitate to doodle a big tortoise on your face!" he added with a smirk.
Deadpool laughed beside him. "Ha! Genius! I love it!"
"Brother, I want to join in!" Katie Dee chimed, tugging playfully at Ryuuto's sleeve. "How about a giant crab? That'll really impress!"
Gwen and Natasha Romanoff stayed close, grinning warmly at him. Quicksilver's glare could have melted steel—he was trapped, humiliated, and being toyed with by Ryuuto and his "harem" of heroines.
"Jiang Li! I swear, you'll pay for this!" Quicksilver spat fire.
"Too noisy," Ryuuto muttered, shoving a rag into Quicksilver's mouth. Silence reigned.
"What now? Are you really going to kill him?" Susan asked gently, concern lining her voice.
"Relax," Ryuuto said with a sly glint in his eye. "I've got a better plan."
Quicksilver's eyes widened in horror as Ryuuto's expression twisted into mischief.
"Deadpool, take it from here," Ryuuto said smoothly. "Do whatever you want with him. Just don't let him cause trouble anymore. The reward? Anything you desire when I perform the Original World Stripping Technique for you."
"Deal!" Deadpool's eyes gleamed. Without a second thought, he scooped up the barely-living Quicksilver, ready to continue his chaotic "work."
"Phew, that's settled," Ryuuto said, patting Deadpool's shoulder. Quicksilver could barely lift his head, glowering with hatred at Ryuuto and the girls.
"Brother, are you going on another mission?" Katie Dee asked, nervous. Susan, Natasha, and Gwen mirrored her worry.
"Exactly," Ryuuto said, a small grin tugging at his lips. "Time for the X-Men to take the initiative."
He pulled out his phone and summoned the team:
"Bobby, where are you now? Are the preparations finished?"
"Reporting, Captain! Almost done. Steel and I are tracking leads on the lizardmen," came Bobby's voice over the line.
"Good. Head to the suburbs and hand everything over to Jin and Arlo for follow-up!" Ryuuto instructed.
"Understood!" Bobby and Steel responded energetically.
"By the way," Ryuuto added with a grin, glancing at the expectant Gwen, "a superhero will temporarily join our team for this mission."
