Emilia had already known that the knight order of House Premirer had gone to the border to support the army of the Kingdom of Velarent. Rumors spoke of several strange infiltration incidents by unidentified and abnormal figures, which had left the civilians in the surrounding territories uneasy.
"But since I am a princess with very little real power, I would never be allowed to know the details."
She thought so inwardly.
Was Lukas Premirer bringing this up today simply to provide information for free? That did not seem like the style of this greedy man at all.
Emilia knew that Lukas Von Premirer was much like herself. He would never do anything without compensation. If something appeared to be free, then it meant there was an even greater purpose hidden behind it.
The atmosphere in the reception room had already been far from pleasant. Now it grew even more tense when Lukas began to act far too relaxed.
