Sorry about yesterday. I got called into work last minute, and the whole thing took five hours, which ended up delaying the update that was supposed to go live.
It's not the company's fault—it's on me. See, I've been a little too hooked on raising my horses, so I didn't have any drafts ready to go and ended up pushing things till the last second.
When I got home, I just wasn't in the right headspace, so I set an alarm, thinking I'd get up in two hours and start writing.
But I didn't wake up. Slept straight till midnight, and even then I was still exhausted. Splashing cold water on my face didn't help one bit.
Still, I remembered the promise I made before the release—I didn't want to put out just a tiny update. So I took a cold shower, ran to FamilyMart for two cans of Red Bull, and got to work.
At first, it was okay. But after a while, my mind started feeling hollow, and honestly? I wasn't happy with what I was writing.
It felt like it was missing a lot of the finer details. I just finished another chapter, but I'm too nervous to post it—worried it's just not good enough. Let me grab some sleep first. Once I'm up, I'll go over it line by line, polish it up, and then share it with everyone.
