Chapter 63 - A Cry for Help

The night pressed down on the abandoned warehouse, thick and suffocating. The remnants of the earlier storm left the air damp, the floor slick under Adrian and Elena's careful steps. Every sound—the drip of water, the creak of metal, the faint scuff of shoes—felt amplified in the oppressive darkness. Each step forward was a test of nerves and endurance.

Adrian exhaled slowly, scanning the corridor. "Keep your eyes open… every shadow could be hiding something."

Elena nodded, gripping her flashlight tighter. "I'm watching. Every little noise… it feels like she's calling us."

Adrian's gaze softened. "She is. Every sound, every small sign, she's leaving breadcrumbs for us. We just have to see them."

Elena swallowed hard. "Sometimes it feels like the darkness itself is alive… watching us, testing us."

Adrian tightened his jaw. "Then we keep moving. No fear. Every second counts, every breath matters. She's counting on us."
