Chapter-35: Forming team with the protagonist Robert
With his suggestion Ratika followed him. Ratika knows that following this protagonist would have benefits and also risks. That is right usually it is the cannon fodder supporting characters that would die in critical situations.
Ratika doesn't want to become a collateral damage for the protagonist so she has to carefully check the situation and work with caution. Fortunately she knows more. Soon they arrived at the boss room again and they quickly went to check the rooms of other pathways.
When they found a room with goblins intact and they did not see anyone fighting in the monster dog room before that, they would enter the room and start fighting the goblins. Robert did not fight with his full strength.
He was actually checking out the strength of Ratika. Ratika heard his inner voice before entering the room. (I have to check out her fighting capabilities so that I would not work for her for free.) Robert thought in his heart.
Ratika knowingly fought with goblin in a very normal pace. Two days ago she is weak but now she is stronger than before. 1 stat point improves the overall strength by 1 time. But if this stat point is improved through hard work then it would increase the base value of the stat.
That means 1 stat point gives more power than normally adding 1 stat point. For this reason Ratika did not add a single stat point till now. Also for benefits of level improvement she did not use experience points she gained to improve her level either.
Everything is saved up and she would jump up the levels after she reached the fifth floor. This is because she can only improve her stats through hard work at the first 10 stat points. That would be done basically for any hard working person that spent time properly in the dungeon.
After all completing the fifth floor one should have spent at least 15 days in all 5 floors. If she did not increase her stats or level during this time she is fighting desperately. At the same time the exercise yields 100 times more.
Naturally it would be equal to training something for 1500 days straight. That would make any normal person well trained. It is no different than training for nearly 5 years straight. That is the benefit one can get when holding back the improvement of their level.
Ratika is doing that. Also fighting in slow motion that is how she is fighting the goblin is a good thing. She can learn to read the moves of the goblin and learn to dodge when required which improves her sense and agility more.
These things can only be learnt in live fighting and Ratika is doing the life fighting using her past lives experiences and other things together. Robert that saw the fighting of Ratika thought that Ratika is new and clumsy.
But he was not that disappointed. Soon he turned the tide and quickly wanted to kill the goblin. But suddenly Ratika pushed the metal spear into the body of one goblin and she actually used force charge and she pinned two goblins at the same time because they are side by side.
Because of the charge before, Ratika was able to pierce the body of the second goblin and force them all the way to the wall on the side completely pinning them. Robert was stunned for a moment but understood what is happening.
(She did a blind charge and she got 1+1 offer here. well there is no problem with It. she can be kept in the team for use.) Robert thought in his heart. Ratika sighed and she looked back at Robert and said with a tone feeling embarrassed.
"Sorry, I got your goblin accidentally. I was charging at my goblin but it moved to the side making me accidentally pierce your goblin as well." Ratika said making Robert not to think too wildly about this situation.
Ratika took the two sacks of dungeon coins and gave one to Robert because it should belong to him. Robert felt that it is not bad and felt that Ratika can be trusted and slightly stupid. After all Ratika gave him the dungeon coins for the monster she hunted.
This made him think that Ratika is not that intelligent and can be used by him in different places. With his thoughts Ratika felt relieved as she listened to his inner voice. Soon they came to the wooden treasure chest and Ratika took the step forward.
"I will pick the lock of the wooden treasure chest. There are traps in the wooden treasure chest and I saw a trap of poisonous gas before. Fortunately I ran quickly to avoid it. We should pick the lock instead of destroying it for our safety." Ratika said righteously.
Ratika said as she started to pick the lock slowly. She is not in a hurry to show anything special. While she was picking bending over Robert finally realized her beauty. He saw her from the back in her revealing but all covering clothes and felt itchy in his heart.
But strangely enough he noticed that his lower part is not heating up. It is like it did not react at all. He did not understand this and wanted to check the situation by looking at Ratika for a while in various angles trying to arouse his desire.
(This chick is hot. Her clothes are quite revealing. She is not even wearing bra or panties. I can see the outline of her melons and part of the cut of her lower mouth. Then why is my body not heating up. Also her back looks very familiar like the back of my wife.
Is it because of that my body is not heating up? Did something happen to me? Don't tell me that the bastard that chained me before did something to me causing me problem in my pleasure life…) Robert has some wild thoughts in his heart.
