"Junior brother, you're that confident?" Xue Wu was momentarily stunned, then smiled.
"More or less."
"This look of yours is kind of arrogant," someone whispered teasingly beside her. "But I really like it!"
Shui Bing'er stepped forward, her expression playful yet sharp. "You're sure you want to challenge all of us? Don't regret it later."
"Would you let me leave if I didn't fight?" Luo Yu shot her a disdainful glance.
Shui Bing'er tilted her head slightly. "Sisters, let's go together. Otherwise, we won't see what this guy's real strength is."
"Junior brother, your senior sisters will be gentle with you, don't worry~" Xue Wu said sweetly as three spirit rings rose beneath her feet.
Swish!
Behind Shui Bing'er, a crystalline ice phoenix spread its wings with a shrill cry. The other four girls stepped forward in unison, forming a sharp battle formation. Blue light shone from behind them—Ice Shark, Frost Ice Blade, Rapid Demon Shark, Explosive Ice Ring—four Martial Souls appeared together, radiant with icy energy.
"Hm?"
Luo Yu was momentarily speechless. Other than Shui Bing'er, who was a two-ring Great Spirit Master, two of the others had already reached the Spirit Elder realm, and the remaining two were clearly on the verge of reaching three rings as well.
Seeing his expression, Xue Wu's crisp voice rang out: "Don't underestimate our captain. She's a lot younger than the rest of us. If she hadn't deliberately compressed her soul power, her level wouldn't be lower than ours."

A blazing golden sun rose behind Luo Yu, its divine radiance impossible to look at directly. The golden flames instantly evaporated the surrounding moisture, and the surging pressure swept toward all six members of the Tian Shui team.
Shui Bing'er's pupils shrank. "He's gotten stronger again."
The others were even more astonished, their beautiful eyes shimmering. "Who would've thought this junior has such terrifying talent? If the other girls in the academy find out, the whole place will explode!"
"Enough chatter—let's move! I can't hold it in any longer!" The girl whose Martial Soul was the Ice Shark grinned excitedly.
"Be careful!" a sharp voice called out, signaling the start of the spar.
Luo Yu nodded slightly to himself—his opponents were clearly well-trained. Even facing one man, they showed no hint of carelessness.
The two girls with assault-type Martial Souls activated possession, blue scales appearing on their skin as they charged ahead.
The agility-type soul master held an Ice Blade and flanked from behind. Shui Bing'er stayed alert for control support, while Xue Wu—clearly the auxiliary-type—stood near another girl whose body emitted icy rings for long-range support.
As the two frontliners, carrying fierce cold energy, rushed him, Luo Yu spun on his heels, preparing to meet them head-on. Unexpectedly, the two beauties giggled lightly and suddenly dodged aside. From behind them, a flash of icy-blue light shot out!
Luo Yu's entire body froze in an instant—literally—encased within a thick block of solid ice.
"Junior brother, your experience isn't great," one of the assault girls teased, poking at the ice. "Your big sisters only used a small trick and you're already down."
"Don't get careless—attack, now!" Shui Bing'er shouted urgently, having just unleashed her first spirit ability, Ice Seal.
"It's fine, capt—"
Before she could even finish, the situation reversed.
Crack!
Golden flames burst forth, melting through the ice. The block rapidly disintegrated like snow under sunlight. Luo Yu twisted his neck, saying calmly, "Blasting it apart might've hurt someone nearby, so I just melted it. Took a few seconds longer."
"Junior brother, how thoughtful of you—but we're not fragile little girls. You don't need to hold back!" One of the girls spoke seriously now, her body covered in shimmering violet scales as her spirit power flared brightly.
That light was the signal.
The two frontliners struck simultaneously; Shui Bing'er launched another blue beam, and beside Xue Wu, a support-type soul master cast a freezing halo toward Luo Yu.
Boom!
Luo Yu's left eye flashed with golden light—no glare could blind him. He saw every movement clearly. With a stomp, the ground beneath him cracked as he leapt nearly three meters high.
His left fist blazed with golden fire as he coiled his body and struck—one fluid motion—a massive fiery punch hurtling toward the two girls!
They hadn't expected such speed, but quickly retaliated. An ice shark-shaped blast and an ice bomb exploded outward, clashing with the fire fist.
Zzzzt! Ice and fire collided with an ear-splitting hiss before erupting in a thunderous explosion. The two assault-type girls were forced back—by Luo Yu alone.
As Luo Yu was about to land, Shui Bing'er's blue light beam—having missed earlier—suddenly reversed direction mid-air. At the same time, an icy ring dropped down from above, aiming to trap him.
Crack!
Luo Yu's aura erupted. His Martial Soul fully awakened—black hair whipping wildly in the surge of power. The icy-blue light was instantly consumed by his golden flames, and the ice ring shattered under the bulging veins of his powerful arms.
"My god, this is insane! He's fighting four of us and still looks relaxed!" Xue Wu exclaimed in disbelief.
"Enough nonsense—if we lose six-on-one, it'll be humiliating," Shui Bing'er snapped.
Xue Wu shrugged. "No need to panic. We still haven't used our trump card. There's no way one man can defeat us all."
As Luo Yu clashed continuously with the two frontliners, elegantly dodging the assassin's attacks from the side, Shui Bing'er's expression grew increasingly tense.
They had realized something—though Luo Yu looked like he was going all out, the hits they landed barely hurt. He was clearly holding back.
"Stop waiting! Mo Mo, join the others—go all out!" Shui Bing'er commanded the girl with the Explosive Ice Ring Martial Soul.
The girl nodded and rushed forward. The battlefield flared with energy—four women and one man darting, clashing, and weaving through bursts of golden fire and icy blue light.
Realizing Luo Yu's true strength, they stopped holding back. Their strongest soul abilities burst forth. Luo Yu pushed both palms forward, twin golden fire palms condensing midair before slamming outward.
Bang!
Luo Yu didn't move an inch, while the four women were blasted back by the heatwave, stumbling several steps before staring at him in awe.
Splash!
Xue Wu suddenly moved. Her blue hair fluttered like a dancing peacock, her three spirit rings alternately flashing as circles of blue ripples spread outward with her graceful dance.
As she danced, dark clouds gathered above Luo Yu's head. Heavy raindrops fell, forming a thick curtain of icy rain.
"What's this?" Luo Yu murmured in confusion.
At that moment, Shui Bing'er moved. A phoenix cry rang out behind her as she dashed backward through the icy rain—toward Xue Wu.
Their figures overlapped—merging into one—followed by an explosion of brilliant light.
A blinding blue-white pillar of energy shot skyward, piercing into the clouds above.
