No sound came from outside the door, but Xue Qinghe's gaze had already focused, quickly sweeping towards the entrance.
"Creak!" The door opened.
"Whoosh, whoosh!" Two dark figures swiftly entered the room, the gust of wind creating a slamming sound as the door closed.
They stood respectfully before Xue Qinghe. The elder on the left was over two meters tall, his slender figure as straight and sharp as a javelin.
The figure on the right, in comparison, appeared unremarkable, of medium build and average build, showing no special features.
"Snake Spear, Porcupine, pay respects to Young Master!"
"No need for formalities, Elders." Xue Qinghe's words were polite, but his eyes held an imposing aura, emanating a sacred aura completely different from before, making him seem unapproachable.
"What orders does Young Master have for us?"
Xue Qinghe said briefly, "Bring Dai Mubai from Shrek Academy to see me. Be sure to avoid the eyes and ears of the Heaven Dou Royal Family. The Seven Treasure Glazed Tile School is probably also watching him. You must be careful."

Although they were elders, standing at the top of the power pyramid in Douluo Continent, they dared not show the slightest disrespect to the young woman before them.
Leaving aside her terrifyingly powerful background, her talent alone was unparalleled in the history of Douluo Continent. Snake Spear and Porcupine knew this all too well and naturally dared not act arrogantly due to their seniority.
"Go then, plan carefully before you act, and do not reveal your identities," Xue Qinghe instructed.

Serpent Spear and Porcupine Douluo exchanged a glance, then laughed, "Peerless genius? That's just empty praise from those who haven't seen the world."
"In our opinion, so-called geniuses are nothing but fleeting clouds in front of the young master. Why would we pay attention to such trivial matters?"
Facing the praise in the two Douluos' words, Xue Qinghe shook his head. "The champions of previous Soul Master Competitions are indeed as you say, insignificant, but this person is different."
"Oh?"
Curiosity flashed in Serpent Spear Douluo's eyes. He knew that Xue Qinghe's usual approachability was all an act; his true personality, given his background and talent, could be described as arrogant.
"Just who is it that could attract the young master's attention?" Porcupine Douluo was also somewhat surprised.

puzzled. "I told you you're out of your mind! How can we recruit someone like the young master? Tell her she's a Spirit Hall spy?"
"Shut your mouth!" the Porcupine Douluo scoffed. "Then I'll recruit her for the young master, okay?" the Serpent Spear
Douluo said disdainfully. "You'll go for the young master? Even if we don't say anything, if such a genius truly exists, wouldn't the other officials in charge at the Spirit Hall extend an olive branch?"
the Porcupine Douluo gritted his teeth. "Long Spear, I know I'm stupid. After this mission, I'm going to give you a real beating."
"Fighting is easy. If you admit you're stupid, I won't say anything more about you," the Serpent Spear Douluo said with a smile.
Xue Qinghe snapped out of his reverie, waving his hand to stop the two from their banter, and said, "What's that stupid woman from the Spirit Hall up to? She hasn't made a single move. Are we just going to let such a genius slip away and end up with someone else?"
Hearing Xue Qinghe's complaint, Serpent Spear and Porcupine Douluo held their breath, eyes downcast, not daring to join the conversation. They knew perfectly well who the "stupid woman" the other was referring to was.
Silence fell over the room .
Serpent Spear Douluo tentatively suggested, "How about I go and investigate that kid's abilities and try to recruit him?"
"Heh," Porcupine Douluo sneered, inwardly cursing him as a sycophant.
Xue Qinghe waved his hand to stop him, pondering, "This person's personality is somewhat unusual. He's reserved, his heart is as calm as still water, and he doesn't have the arrogance of a typical genius. I'm afraid you won't be able to persuade him. I'll go myself."
"Young Master, this might expose you," Serpent Spear Douluo frowned.
Xue Qinghe said, "I'll try to invite him for a chat after he participates in the competition tomorrow. If he agrees to join the Spirit Hall, that's fine. But if not..."

The host, holding a soul-guided megaphone, stood on the arena with his signature smile.

A middle-aged spectator glanced around, "How many people are really concerned about the result? They're all here to see a stomp on a weak opponent."
"The match begins! Please welcome Tianshui Academy to enter first!"
The cheers in the arena instantly exploded, the sound reaching the heavens.
