They once again hopped into a taxi, and drove to a Rolls-Royce showroom. They paid the driver and walked in but there were no sales associates available.
It was safe to say, the whole place was empty. Apart from the cars being shown, there was almost no signs of life.
They walked up to the receptionist desk but the young lady didn't raise her head up from her phone even when they had been standing for a few seconds.
Evelyn rapped her knuckles on the desk.
"Excuse me, we'd like to look at some cars."
The girl raised her head and blew her gum loudly. She eyed them both up and down then let out a little giggle.
