Inside the personal Mirage Realm.
After faintly sensing that there was something unusual between Arthur and Akashiya Moka, Akua Shuzen finally revealed the reason she had come.
She had formed a cooperation agreement with Fujisaki Miyabi, another executive of the organization Fairy Tale from the Demon Realm.
The condition of their deal was simple—she was to help him find someone.
She didn't know exactly who that person was, but she had been told that by using a certain stone, she would be able to locate them.
And so, she followed the trail from the Demon Realm all the way here.
She had never expected that the one she was to find would turn out to be Akashiya Moka.
"So that's how it is," Arthur murmured thoughtfully after hearing her explanation.
Fujisaki Miyabi—on the surface, he was the head of the First Branch of Fairy Tale, a powerful organization within the Demon Realm.
But that was merely a façade. His secondary identity was The Masked King.
And his true identity… was Alucard, the First True Ancestor in the world of Rosario + Vampire.
To be precise, Fujisaki Miyabi was merely an incarnation of Alucard.
His strength was, by all standards, overwhelming.
In single combat, almost no one could match him.
At the height of his power, it took him only seven days to engulf the entire human world in flames—he nearly succeeded in annihilating humanity.
Eventually, three great warriors joined forces to seal him away.
Those three came to be known as the Three Great Dark Lords.
Moka's mother, Akasha Bloodriver, was the foremost among them.
Akasha Bloodriver, the Second True Ancestor, was known as The Immortal Swordswoman.
When Alucard was defeated and sealed by the Three Dark Lords, he split his own soul in two—one half was sealed, while the other became an avatar and escaped.
That fragment later took the forms of The Masked King and Fujisaki Miyabi, establishing two powerful forces: the Huang Family and Fairy Tale.
He lived his daily life as Fujisaki Miyabi.
If Fujisaki Miyabi had sent Akua Shuzen to find Akashiya Moka, it could only mean one thing—he wanted to use Moka's True Ancestor power to unseal his original body.
Thinking of this, Arthur's eyes flickered slightly.
He released his domain—Sovereign Realm.
Returning to the living room, Arthur glanced toward the master bedroom on the second floor before looking at the now-compliant Kurumu and said calmly,
"Your sister, Akashiya Moka, is now my retainer."
"My—your retainer?!"
Kurumu's expression changed subtly.
Hearing that her sister had become someone's retainer, she instinctively felt a flash of anger.
But looking at Arthur—the man who had effortlessly defeated her—she could only suppress her emotions.
A suspicion arose in her mind:
"Could this guy have forced Moka to become his retainer?"
After all, his power was terrifying.
During their earlier battle, she could feel the depth of his strength—unfathomable.
He hadn't even been serious, and yet he had crushed her with ease.
Understanding the vast gulf between them, she had no choice but to stay obedient and cooperative.
Moreover, she could sense that Arthur had truly intended to kill her earlier.
She had no desire to die like that.
"That's right."
Arthur nodded slightly, then looked at her calmly. "So, what do you plan to do now?"
"I want to see Moka," Kurumu replied after a pause. "Don't worry—I won't harm her."
Now that she knew Fujisaki Miyabi's real target was her sister, she decided to terminate their cooperation unilaterally.
Even if Fujisaki Miyabi had promised to help her save her grandfather, it no longer mattered.
"All right. Wait here."
Arthur's eyes glimmered briefly as he turned and headed upstairs.
He believed her—
Not only because she was a sister complex, but also because it didn't really matter whether she was telling the truth or not.
With him here, she couldn't do anything anyway.
"How strange…"
Watching Arthur's back disappear upstairs, Kurumu unconsciously pressed a hand to her chest, frowning slightly.
Her heartbeat was a little faster than normal.
After spending some time near him, she began to feel as though something about him was… drawing her in.
At first, she didn't understand what it was.
But as a faint hunger rose within her, realization struck—
It was the thirst for blood.
She wanted to drink Arthur's blood.
It was the first time in her life she had ever felt such a thing.
As a vampire, the craving for blood was instinctual—just as humans needed food and water.
But until now, she had never once felt such a distinct yearning for any particular person's blood.
It surprised her.
Fortunately, as Arthur moved farther away, that urge gradually subsided.
Not disappeared, but merely dormant—ready to awaken again at any moment.
Meanwhile, upstairs in the bedroom.
Arthur walked to the bedside, looking at the sleeping Akashiya Moka. After a moment's hesitation, he cast Sky Magic on her.
"Mmm~…"
Moka's delicate brows furrowed slightly.
Then they relaxed, a faint smile appearing on her lips—like she was having a pleasant dream.
"Moka, wake up," Arthur said softly after soothing her fatigue with his magic.
After calling her several times, Moka slowly opened her eyes.
The first thing she saw was Arthur. Her eyes showed a hint of dazed confusion.
Then her soft, lazy voice sounded:
"Arthur… what's wrong?"
Ever since their discussion about the process of life reproduction in the Mirage Realm, Moka had changed the way she addressed him.
Arthur smiled gently. "Your sister, Kurumu, is here."
"My sister…"
Moka froze for a moment upon hearing the name Kurumu.
In the Cross Seal's inner dimension, Inner Moka's eyes flashed briefly.
Blinking, she quickly shook off her confusion, sat up, and said with surprise and joy,
"Kurumu-nee? I haven't seen her in three years! Is she really here?"
"Mm." Arthur nodded lightly.
Then he smiled again. "She's downstairs in the living room. Get dressed and go see her."
"Okay."
Moka nodded happily, pulling back the blanket and getting out of bed.
The alluring sight before him almost made Arthur's "flag" rise again.
He forcibly suppressed the urge with reason.
"Then I'll go down first," he said, turning away as she began dressing. He closed the door behind him and went back downstairs.
In the living room, Kurumu was still standing exactly where he'd left her—obedient and composed.
Raising an eyebrow slightly, Arthur said, "Sit down. Relax."
Although she had attacked him in the Sovereign Realm, he hadn't sensed any killing intent from her.
So he had only punished her lightly.
Since she was Moka's sister, and their relationship was clearly close, there was no need to act cold toward her now.
The matter was considered settled.
"…Thank you," Kurumu said softly after a pause, her gaze flickering slightly as she walked to the sofa and sat down.
"What would you like to drink?" Arthur asked with a mild smile. "Oolong tea, barley tea, mineral water, or juice?"
"Anything's fine," she replied quietly, still mindful of their earlier clash.
"All right then."
At her noncommittal answer, Arthur raised an eyebrow and headed toward the kitchen.
He took out his special blend of tomato juice from the fridge and poured two glasses.
It was good stuff—
Infused with a trace of his own blood, rich in life energy.
For vampires, it was one of the finest nutritional tonics in existence.
Certified by Akashiya Moka herself.
