4th Elder Kaka: "Spoken like a member of your so-called 'Dove faction.' I refuse to stand by while the Uchiha are treated this way."
Elder Kaka stood abruptly and left the meeting, followed by a few disgruntled clansmen.
Fugaku sighed deeply.
Uchiha Fugaku: "The Uchiha are one of Konoha's founding clans. Yes, founder Uchiha Madara, also became the first traitor to the village, but we must rise above this history. We need to lead by example and change how the village perceives us."
Some of the clansmen nodded in agreement with Fugaku, while others remained dissatisfied.
As the meeting adjourned, the Uchiha Clan left the shrine divided, their unity strained.
Fugaku stepped outside and saw Itachi talking with Yagami.
Itachi: "Do you know how to perform the layered shuriken technique?"
Yagami: "Yes, but right now, I'm focusing on Kenjutsu. It takes time for my body to adapt to it."
Uchiha Fugaku (intervening): "Kenjutsu is like math—it will only stay with you if you practice it regularly."
Yagami: "I'll make sure to follow your advice, Captain."
Uchiha Fugaku: "Good."
Itachi: "Father, how about teaching me a jutsu?"
Fugaku: "How about the Fireball Jutsu? Yagami, do you already know how to perform it?"
Yagami: "Yes, Captain."
Fugaku: "You and Itachi are the same age. I hope you'll learn a lot from each other."
Yagami: "It's not a problem, Captain. By the way, I'd like your help with something."
Fugaku: "What is it?"
Yagami: "I want to improve my understanding of Yin Chakra, so I'd like to borrow some Yin Release notes from the clan library. Gramps is busy with the construction plans for the houses."
Fugaku Accompanied Yagami to the Naka shrine handed over some of the clan's most treasured Yin Release notes to Yagami, detailing advanced Yin manipulation and applications.
From that point on, Itachi and Yagami began training together.
Yagami taught Itachi the Shadow Clone Jutsu to aid in shuriken training. However, Itachi could only manage to create a single clone at a time. For Itachi, though, even one clone was enough to grasp the concepts while the clone practiced independently.
Under Yagami's guidance, Itachi honed his skills with shurikens, kunai, and Uchiha Kenjutsu techniques, quickly improving his precision and agility.
Meanwhile, Yagami sought additional guidance from Tanaka, particularly in mastering Genjutsu, with a focus on Demonic Illusions and Sharingan-based interrogation techniques—essential tools for extracting information effectively.
Yagami's talent was unmatched. If someone showed him a single jutsu, he could invent 100 variations and practical applications of it. His mind absorbed knowledge like a sponge in water.
Driven by curiosity and innovation, Yagami began working on creating a Lightning Style Jutsu akin to Chidori. While he didn't yet know the specific hand signs, his deep understanding of chakra flow gave him an edge in improvising and refining basic techniques.
He even developed new jutsu entirely from scratch.
One of his creations was a Genjutsu he named Shakkuri ya Kushami (Hiccups and Sneezing). This technique caused uncontrollable hiccups and sneezing in the victim, throwing them off balance. While breaking the Genjutsu was possible if the victim realized it, the sneezing would persist for an additional two minutes afterward. Yagami observed that sneezing often disrupted a person's focus and stability, making it an effective distraction in battle.
