I just lay there hugging her. I'm going to have to talk her into going to ms Barbara's house. She's worried. I get that, but he tried to get her. He's no longer just watching her. I don't know if he plans to kill her or just kidnap her. I don't want to find out. 10 years got taken off my life when I saw her run into the shop. I hug her tighter. She lets out a little whimper. Hurrying I loosen my grip. Kissing the top of her head I close my eyes and try to rest. Just as I'm dosing my phone rings. I forgot all about it. I quickly and gently pull it out. Rose scoots in to me more. I hurry and answer it.
"Hes at your house" is the first thing I hear. I forgot Jeff had access to my cameras.
"What is he doing"
"Just looking around he must think something is going on with yall sense. She ran to your shop and yall live so close. When he found out you lived there he must have looked into you and found where you worked. "
"How do you know about that"
"Come on now as soon as you told me you started working there I hacked their cameras. When she came running in I started hacking every camera from her friend's house to your shop. I caught the whole chase. From her coming around the house all the way to the shop. Damn your girl is tough by the way."
"Did you get his face?"
"No he was wearing a mask but I got his dimensions and he has brown eyes. I'm running a program to match every guy to what we know. It's not going to tell us the exact guy but it will narrow it down a lot. There are only 300 people living in that town and half are elderly. 22 percent of the rest are female. If my math is right there should be only about 20 people that might match."
"Thank you when you get a list, send it to me and send me the videos."
"Ya i can do that but are you sure you want to see the video. There's nothing good on it. It's going to make you mad and break your heart. I don't even know the girl but it did to me."
"I need to see. I know it will hurt me but I have to."
"Fine, I will send it to you. And the video of him at your house. Do you want me to call the cops?"
"No, I don't want him to know I have cameras all over. He will start to look for them."
"Ok i will just keep tracking him"

"looking to ms Barbara's land that she owns. She mentioned having some under her old name but i don't know what it is. We may be hiding there once she gets discharged. I want it decked out with the best security that I can get."
"I got you. I will send someone I know who is the best. I will have it look like it's coming from the owner. so anyone tracking me will see me just doing my normal work."
"Thank you and can you do it to Katie and Tiffany's house's two. i don't want anything happening to them. I don't want her to hurt anymore. She cares for them like their family."
"You got it. If you see her as family and she sees them as family then they are all my family now."

We talk for about 30 more minutes about everything that needs to be done at the house's. As I hang up I hear a small nook. The door opens and the nurse comes in. She looks at us and don't seem to be happy with me.
"We have a guest got for a reason. She need her space so she can sleep comfortable. Please get down." I didn't think about it. She wanted me to lay with her so I did. I go to get down. When I move to sit up she grabs on tight to me. Then I hear it. She is starting to cry. She's holding on to me so fierce her knuckles are turning white. The nurse runs over.
"What are you doing to her" but as soon as the words her lips she see Rose holding on to me for dear life. Whimpering for me not to leave her that shes scared. Shes not awake It seems shes having a nightmare. But she still knows I'm here. She's using me for comfort. I get back into bed and hold her while crying and trembling slows. After some time of me rubbing her arms. Holding her and whispering to her did they stop and she finally started resisting peacefully again.
"I'm not leaving, I'm staying right here. She needs me." I looked the nurse in the eyes daring her to try to make me. Why can we have the other nurse not this bitch. Muted just like the doctor, Disgusting. I like this town. We can't have doctors and nurses here like them here. After everything is over me and Jeff will have to get rid of the bad apples. She looks at me like i'm shit on her shoe. That don't bother me. What does is how she looks at Rose. Both her and the doctor think this is her fault that she asked for it. I can tell by their colors and the way they look at her. I think it's mostly because she came in wearing only a shirt and underwear. They act like she was walking the street in that and not in her house and had to run outside in that. Even if she was walking outside naked no one has the right to hurt her. Call the cops on her, yes, but never to put their hands on her or hurt her. I will make it where they can never work in this field ever again mock my word on that.
She checks her vitals and rights it down. As soon as she walks out I call the nurse station. I ask for the good nurse. She said she will be right there. She just walks in didn't even knock coming right to Rose, not even looking at me.
"Is she ok?" She's looking at Rose and her vitals. "Why is her face so red?"
"Your other nurse just came in and tried to make me get off the bed. Rose had a breakdown. I got her to calm down finally but I think she may have given herself a fever. I wasn't going to tell the other nurse. I don't want her anywhere near her. Please have her taken off of her service same with the doctor. I don't want her to see them ever again." he looks at me with understanding like she knew how they were. She just nods and then takes her temperature.
"Yes she does have a small fever. I'm going to go talk to another doctor and get some meds to bring it back down. Stay by her and keep her calm. Rest and peace is best for her recovery. For what its worth i will tell yall sorry for yall having an unpleasant experience here."
"You did nothing wrong, don't apologize for something you didn't do. But i do ask that when you are on shift please be her nurse and when you are no at work put someone you know is good on her for me. I trust you."
"Thank you and I will. Give me a little bit. I will be back to bring something for the fever." with that she gives me a small smile and hurries out. I finally relax knowing they won't be back. I'm so tired I don't even think I can move any more. I hug her titter. As soon as my head hits the pillow I'm out. My body just gave out on me.
