Jason had not planned to spend his morning being dragged to a shopping mall by a teenager brimming with endless enthusiasm. He had meant it when he suggested they should go shopping, but he certainly hadn't meant immediately.
Yet there he was, standing on the curb while Regina waved her hand to stop a taxi.
"Come on, Jason, hurry up," she said, grinning as the taxi pulled over beside them.
He rubbed the back of his neck.
"You realize I haven't had breakfast yet, right?"
"You can eat later. Shopping waits for no one."
"It's not even ten yet and… Ugh, forget it."
Jason sighed but climbed into the back seat with her. The taxi driver, a woman wearing pink sunglasses, glanced at them through the mirror.
"Where to?"
"The Grand Plaza Mall, please," Regina said before Jason could even open his mouth.
Jason frowned.
"You still know your way around?"
Regina smirked.
"Obviii."
