Sean leaned forward to kiss Elara again, licking his bottom lip as his eyes showed the malice in his intentions, but before he could even come an inch closer to her, the sound of a gun going off echoed around them, and he froze.
The sound of hurried footsteps followed.
"Help!" A scream echoed, but that scream didn't belong to Elara, who was the victim on the ground, but from someone from downstairs before he was shunned.
"What is it? Go check!" Sean said to the leader before taking a deep breath, proceeding with his evil intentions.
Elara, who was about to tilt her face to the side to avoid his lips, looked behind him, and tears rolled down from the corner of her eyes.
Sean observed the change of emotions in her eyes and turned around to see what it was, and as soon as he did, he was hit by something sharp, strong enough to make him black out immediately.
His team rushed and quickly held the other perpetrators hostage at gunpoint.
