"What did your father say, Andrew? Tell me. What was so important that it needed more importance than his life?" Sophia forced Andrew to look at her and the man pressed his lips into a thin line.
He didn't say anything. Didn't know what to say honestly. He couldn't make what his father said apart from the fact that his father didn't want him to marry Beatrice.

Besides, what was the use of stopping him when the deed was already done? Wasn't he with his grandfather earlier and wanted him to marry Beatrice to protect the dignity of the Lloyd's, so that the business wouldn't slip away from their hands?
