I was shocked and stared at him then back at the demon king who paused. Maybe this could work after all. I nodded too, supporting my father's words.

The demon king smiled then. "What good taste you have, there's a reason why we belong to each other after all. I'm into women too."

One would think Zorathys would be annoyed by my words.


One would think he would frown, or sigh, or make some lazy comment about how I was being dramatic. One would think he would argue that the outing didn't have to end, that we could salvage something from the chaos, that surely the children had learned their lesson.
