Chapter 304: Shouting at the Sky, Slippery Demons, and the Bracelet That Finally Worked
Elyn's POV
Most times, I was a calm person.
In fact, if I were to be described in my previous life, most people would say I was calm, demure, quiet, hard to anger, and hard to stress over things. I had sat through thousands of meetings with Karen — my former boss — without showing any expression on my face, even as I cursed her internally and thought about a thousand ways to kill her, roast her over a pit, sell her bones to the lowest bidder... anyway, the violent thoughts aside, what I'm trying to say is that I'm a calm person.
I had been a rock.
Unshakeable. Unflappable. Unbothered. I was more of a stone demon if I were to be described. Quite unshakeable.
But since coming to the demon realm...
My patience had been tried on multiple levels.
And this was one of them.
It was just a simple outing, right? It was just something we could do to have fun. Something simple.
