Chapter 151 - Chapter 15 - Like PSYCHO (Full Chapter)

After that day, the hot-blooded artist of D\8/, Da Li Hong (Cho Ji Nam), assigned the trio to prepare for the grand plan ahead—starting with a thorough inspection of the stadium in the heart of Seoul.

The alarm clock rang out loudly, "Capi Capi Caboo…" Crash! A young lady kicked it against the wall.

"Morning, wake up!" Yoona jumped out of bed to rouse Rose, who had dozed off at her desk. The emerald glow in the android's eyes flickered awake at the sound. Yoona dashed into the bathroom and, in just three minutes, showered and changed.

"Yoona! Breakfast is ready!" her mother called from downstairs. In a flash, the android carried her on his back and rushed down. "Let's go, Rose—I choose you!" He set her on a chair, tied on an apron, and prepared to serve.

Her parents froze in shock. "Uh…"

Yoona choked slightly on her food, and Rose instantly handed her water within a fraction of a second. "Ahem… thanks."

"Would you like anything else?" Rose asked, bowing like a personal butler.

"No, no. My boyfriend's picking me up soon—we're heading straight to the stadium." Rose nodded and opened the door to breathe in the morning air.

"The weather's clear, no snow. I'd recommend morning till noon," he remarked, spotting a pigeon standing in the snow. The bird's eyes widened at the sight of the android, as if facing a predator.

"Coo!" It flapped away in panic. Rose tilted his head.

"Coo?" he mimicked.

Beep beep! A car pulled up. So-hyung, in dark shades and a thick jacket, leaned out with a raised brow. "Ready yet?"

"Coming!" Yoona threw a hood over Rose's head and dragged him into the car.

"Kajja!" So-hyung shifted gears and sped into the city. Holographic ads projected promos for the upcoming mega-concert, drawing tourists from everywhere.

Parking by the sidewalk, they were approached by Chinese tourists asking for directions.

"Huǒchē zhàn zài nǎlǐ?" one asked. Rose tried to respond, but Yoona stopped him. "Don't underestimate my guy, he studied Mandarin."

"Uh…" So-hyung thought for a moment. "Yīzhí xiàng, liǎng gōnglǐ, zuǒ zhuǎn" he said, pointing straight then gesturing right.

"Zài duìmiàn Gong-ji Plaza," he added with hand motions.

"Ah~ xiè xiè, gamsahamnida, oppa!" the tourists giggled. So-hyung waved, then bought red bean fish bread to snack on.

At Seoul Stadium, still under construction, the trio gazed up at the gleaming white roof. Yoona squinted, estimating.

"130 by 95… not bad. But nearly ninety thousand people will be here, right?"

"Over seventy thousand tickets sold already. Only ten thousand left at the gate. Way too big for us," So-hyung sighed.

"Then we need five hours of prep before the show!" Yoona declared, stepping onto the scaffolding. Inside, a massive cube hung forty meters above the ground, suspended by steel cables.

"That's Xu Wen's meeting chamber during the show. It moves by sling, for people to enter and exit," So-hyung explained, spotting a balcony at the top tier. "There."

Rose scanned the stadium, noting over ten surveillance cameras.

"I need to talk to him, but without a climbing point, I can't reach that chamber," he muttered.

Yoona smirked, recalling her winged backpack. "Easy—I'll drop you right on top." She dialed Jinam.

"Hello! What now!" he shouted.

"Li Hong! We're at the stadium. It's just like you said, but Rose wants inside the cube. Problem is, the spotlights will catch him."

"Hmm… the lights sweep every fourteen seconds. Seven seconds for half the stadium. Watch the cameras—they're SECURE 320s model. They catch everything."

"So-hyung can handle that."

"320s?! been out like 2 years ago." Jinam scoffed. "What, a fucking antique?"

"Fine, I'll take care of it!" he shouted. "If this works, the investment won't go to waste."

"You're still grabby as ever," Yoona teased. Rose scanned again, finding a hook on the scaffolding. He calculated the swing force needed to latch onto the cables and reach the cube. He pocketed the hook for later practice.

"I'll train at midnight," he decided. Yoona nodded. "It's noon already—I'm starving."

"What should we eat? Plenty nearby," So-hyung said.

"Rose, hungry?" Yoona asked, then laughed. "Oops, forgot—robots don't eat." Rose froze at her words, feeling oddly human.

"Hey, are you sulking?" Yoona teased, waving her hand at his blank face.

"Guess he really is hungry," So-hyung joked, laughing. Rose remained expressionless.

"Smile, come on! If we take a selfie, you'll look gloomy," Yoona coaxed. Rose forced a grin, stiff and unnatural. "Okay, enough. We'll fix that later."

They headed downtown for food, where Yoona bumped into her college friends, Eugene and Irene, with two muscular guys.

"Darling~~ buy me this bag!" Eugene whined, stomping her foot. Irene, meanwhile, walked arm-in-arm with her stern boyfriend.

So-hyung pulled up and greeted them. "Yo, girls!" Yoona waved.

"Yoona~ oh my gosh, I missed you!" Eugene squealed, perfume wafting.

"Hi there~ how've you been?" Irene smiled.

"Trying to build my future. Soon I'll have a job," Yoona sighed. "Oh, meet my new mate!" She gestured to the man in dark shades, who lowered his window with an eerie smile.

"Uh… h-hi," Eugene stammered at Rose's rigid face.

"He's… uh…" So-hyung improvised. "Call him Mr. Rouge. Quiet, but kind and sincere."

"Very sincere," Yoona muttered half-jokingly.

"Hi, Rouge." Irene greeted, the machine react with an uncanny smile.

"So what are you two doing?" Yoona asked.

"My boyfriend's broke after his birthday night and i have to pay for the rent!" Eugene pouted.

"Still unemployed unlike her" Irene laughed, glaring daggers at her friend.

Yoona gave a cheeky grin. "Well, we'll see each other at the concert!" She waved her left hand goodbye while her right tapped So-hyung's arm, signaling him to hit the gas. Rose pressed his face against the car window, gazing at the pale white buildings. In the morning they gleamed clean and bright, but at night neon lights would blaze across the city.

Traffic flowed smoothly thanks to police patrols during the New Year festival. Trade drones glided past glass domes that sheltered parks and forests at the city's center. Rose traced a heart shape on the fogged window, resembling a pendant. Soon the car stopped at a roadside restaurant. Still uneasy, Rose chose to stay in the backseat, guarding those he trusted.

"Not coming out, Rose?" Yoona asked.

"Drones may be patrolling the city. I'd rather not risk it," he replied. The couple accepted his decision and stepped out to eat. From inside, they watched him sketch shapes on the misted glass.

"Ever since you've been with Rose…" So-hyung swallowed his drink, "…I feel strange."

"How so? Afraid I'll leave you for a robot?" Yoona teased.

"No, no. He feels more like…" He struggled for words. Yoona glanced out the window and saw Rose's half-hidden face peeking up.

"Like what?"

"Like a little brother." So-hyung smiled and nodded. "Are we sure about this plan?" he asked.

"We've come this far. No turning back," Yoona sighed.

After lunch, Jinam called with updates.

"Yoona, I got the concert layout from the producer. I'm at Muell Seoul now," he said.

"Perfect! We're on our way." So-hyung drove to the entrance of an old subway tunnel, where the artist in a suit awaited.

"What did you get?" Jinam asked.

"Everything. Let's see the map." They entered a luxurious underground lounge. Jinam projected a hologram across the round table.

"Alright, let's break it down. A1, A2, A3 stadium entrances. The gray edges are nearby buildings," Yoona analyzed. "To get Rose to the center, we'll need jet wings, at night only. Otherwise the camera will catch him. The red cube is hanged with slick steel cables, meant to transport people."

Rose placed a hook on the table. "With enough force, I will latch onto the cable and reach the cube before the lights sweep."

"Main problem is the cameras and ID cards," So-hyung muttered. "Without a card, no one enters the control room. And if the cameras catch a stranger, it's over."

"One, disguises, I'll handle that. Two, distractions—noise, emergencies, whatever," Yoona said confidently. "You know I love stirring trouble. Plus, Jinam and my friends enjoy pranks."

"Fine. After the show, I'll do the speech," Jinam promised. He zoomed in on the cube's interior: a long conference table, one-way glass walls, and warrior armor from Mongolia, China, Korea, and Japan displayed in each corner. Above, an emergency hatch resembled an elevator shaft, perfect for Rose's climb.

"What will you do up there?" Jinam pressed.

Rose paused. "If we're exposing this man, why not bring him down to the stage?" His words stunned them.

"What?! That would make the concert not just huge, but historic worldwide. It's insane!" So-hyung stammered.

"Afraid? You've nothing left to lose. If we succeed, you'll be free." Yoona urged.

"That son of a bitch doesn't value shit. Anyone who stands in his way is silenced—ten years, twenty. But this is our chance to expose my father's secrets, to bring him to justice," Jinam declared.

Rose then asked quietly, "How much do you love her?"

So-hyung froze, staring at Yoona. "Love her. Always."

"Then…" Rose crossed their arms together like soulmates. "Don't you leave her behind."

So-hyung's jaw dropped at the android's wisdom.

"Even a machine knows better," Jinam chuckled. Yoona embraced her shaken boyfriend, who clenched his fists, determined to protect her.

"I'll get you through this," he vowed, hooking his pinky with hers. But Yoona rejected the gesture, sealing the promise with a kiss instead. Jinam rubbed his temples at the sight, while Rose smiled stiffly, proud of them.

"Feels like a shit drama. Touching, though," Jinam muttered.

"I wonder… is the video a little.... too violent?" Yoona worried. Jinam thought carefully. "We'll present it in a way that doesn't look fake or generated. Only the producer and I know about this footage."

Yoona sat deep in thought. "Let's open with a novel-style prologue, blur out the violent parts, but describe Xu Wen as a dragon, breathing fire and destroying everything, blah blah…" she suggested.

"If we had a green backdrop, it would look even better, smooth transition." Jinam joked, sparking another idea in Yoona's mind.

"So-hyung and Rose! I'll have to rely on you two for the editing," she said, glancing at them.

"Fo real? You want to go that far?" her boyfriend asked, making sure she meant it.

"Lesson one for future couples," the hot-blooded artist raised a finger and declared, "Never go against your wife. Ha!" He led them toward the next door. "That's my private filming room. Fully equipped. Go all out, but if you break anything, I'll send you the bill later. Enjoy."

When they opened the door, the trio gasped at the grandeur. Chandeliers glided across the ceiling to balance the lighting, while automatic spotlights stood ready for any shoot.

"Your secret house… how many girls have you brought here?" Yoona teased.

"Girls? This isn't a place just anyone can enter. It's inside Muell—reserved for underground elites. You three are exceptions. But after this, we'll part ways as if we never knew each other. Got it?" Jinam smiled, rubbing his hands.

"Selling out your mates for work, huh…" Yoona narrowed her eyes.

"Hey! Don't say that. I've got a sharp tongue, but I don't sell people out. Just… don't get too close." he muttered in his native tongue.

So-hyung approached the high-end camera, touching it delicately. "Don't scratch, my precious…" he whispered. Suddenly Rose lifted the camera with both hands and set it up without hesitation.

"Don't, that shit costs me a freaking Lambo!" So-hyung paled after he heard the price.

Once the equipment was ready, Rose grabbed a book on editing techniques and skimmed it at lightning speed. Yoona scribbled narration notes, while So-hyung and Jinam fine-tuned the cameras for maximum quality.

"What are we aiming for?" So-hyung asked.

"For a concert this big? 16K quality, of course," Yoona replied.

"And what will you call the clip?" he pressed.

She paused, then smirked. "Psycho… Psycho Wolves Operation."
