CHAPTER NO 18
"Under the Crimson Veil"
The night was calm — too calm.Moonlight spilled through the balcony of the palace like liquid silver, washing over the marble floors where the princess stood. Her armor lay untouched beside the window, forgotten in favor of silence. She looked out at the horizon, where the first hints of dawn trembled behind a sea of mist.
Behind her, the door creaked softly.
The silver-haired girl entered, barefoot, her long hair glowing faintly in the dim light. "You didn't sleep again," she whispered. Her voice was soft, like the night breeze — gentle, but filled with concern.
The princess didn't turn. "I can't," she replied. "Every time I close my eyes, I see the war. The blood. The faces I couldn't save."
For a long moment, neither spoke. Then the girl came closer, each step echoing faintly in the silence. When she stopped behind the princess, she reached out — hesitant — and touched her hand.
The princess's breath caught. Her fingers were cold, but that touch... that single act of warmth broke through the wall she had built around her heart.
"You're not alone anymore," the girl said. "You don't have to fight everything by yourself."
The princess turned, her crimson eyes meeting the deep blue of the girl's. There was a storm in that gaze — grief, longing, and something neither dared name aloud.
Slowly, almost unconsciously, the princess lifted her hand and brushed a strand of white-pink hair from the girl's face. The movement was tender, trembling. The air around them grew still, charged with unspoken words.
"Why do you stay?" the princess asked, her voice barely more than a breath. "You've seen what I am — what I've done."
"Because I see who you are," the girl replied. "Not the blood, not the crown — just you."
A small, broken laugh escaped the princess's lips. "You make it sound so simple."
"It is," the girl said, stepping closer. "If you let it be."
Their hands found each other, fingers intertwining like they had always belonged. The distance between them vanished — not just physical, but something deeper, older, fated.
For a heartbeat, the world fell away. Only the two of them remained — one cursed by darkness, the other touched by light.
The princess leaned forward, resting her forehead against the girl's. "You make me forget the war," she whispered.
"Then let me," the girl answered softly.
"The princess said that how much time i am waiting for that moment you made me wait so long . you know everything that , The first day we met i am in love with you before i met you i am love in another girls eyes they just want that i touch them but i wont you know Why? because i believe that someone is just made for me that's way than i find you the time i saw my heart beating so fast i want to touch you more than your thought but i believe that one day you gave me the permission so now be obedient .

Outside, the wind howled, but in that small, quiet room, there was only warmth. The princess's eyes closed, her guard falling away, and the night wrapped around them like a crimson veil.
The candles flickered, their flames dancing — then dimmed.
And the world faded to black.
