The horse passed through me as if it was a phantom. At the same time, the dullahan cracked its whip and hopped onto the horse's back. They galloped until they were both flying in the sky. The dullahan swirled its whip as the horse galloped through the air.
The swirling of the whip caused the wind to pick up. The air around crackled as if a small tornado was about to pick up. I planted my feet on the ground and stood ready for its final attack. The black smoke oozing from where the demon's head was supposed to be intensified.
The horse neighed loudly, the sound it travelling like a speaker as it stood on its back legs. At the same time, the dullahan cracked its whip. I tuned all my senses, focusing on the whip. I felt the vibration of the air on my skin. I could hear the sound of the whip heading towards me.
