There she met the man who made her heart run a marathon the moment she laid eyes on him. Call it love at first sight. Therefore, when she saw an opportunity to get close to him, she grabbed it. But she was naïve to think that she could make him fall in love with her in one night.

Just like all her dreams, her heart shattered into pieces after Nolan Maxwell, the golden boy of Hollywood, dumped her after he had his fun.

But she should have known better. Nolan didn’t do relationships or commitments.

Then, Adrian, a young model and an aspiring actor, came into the picture. Emily thought that he could help her heal her broken heart. But she discovered too late that Adrian only used her to advance his career. Eventually, she caught him cheating with one of his co-stars.

Stabbed by a betrayal, intoxicated with a heartbreak, and one drunken mistake, she accidentally ended up wearing the ring of the last man she wanted in her life.

As the lights turned on and the cameras began rolling, she had to make the ultimate decision. Play the part of his loving wife on and off the screen, or run for the hills and never look back.

Honestly, he knew that. He was aware of how the wealthy and influential manipulated the system to get what they wanted, which was more money and control. In truth, he was just like them. He just didn't care.
