Reed's Pov
We often engage in these lively little interdepartmental games from time to time, just a way to inject some fun and camaraderie into the hectic rhythm of shifts and training. It's a whirlwind of excitement and laughter, a delightful chaos that serves as a welcome distraction, and perhaps that's precisely why I enjoy participating. I have a weekend off approaching soon, possibly next week, and I intend to visit Ma at the hospital. Earlier this year, she received the difficult news of her stage two cancer diagnosis, a topic I find too heavy to dwell on for long. It weighs on my heart, making it hard to talk about, but I'm hopeful and determined to be there for her.
