Khael's POV
I woke up to the strong arms of someone rightly wrapped around me as if I would disappear.
His breathing down my neck indicated that he was fast asleep.
I slowly turned around to face him and his hold tightened simultaneously.
"I'm not running!" I groaned inwardly.
My heart skipped a beat at the face in front of me.
I traced my fingers over the slight stubble on his face.
"How did we get here?" I thought but my mind drew blanks.
I remember seeing his car drive up to park in front of me but that's all that I could remember.
I had an unexpected heat and everything that happened from then seemed to have wiped away from my memories.
Thinking back on the heat, what could have suddenly triggered it?
"I must not smell good but look good". Han said, suddenly startling me out of my thoughts.
He must have woken up from my touch.
He looked real and I almost thought it was one of those dreams.
"Have enough yet?" He asked again and that made me swiftly sit up.
