Khael's POV
When I got back home, I stopped briefly by the front door, an unfamiliar voice was coming from within the house.
I walked inside slowly unsure of what to expect and I was surprised by whom I saw beside Rowan in the living room. But as always he was happily discussing with her.
She looks strange and a weird scent came off her that made me want to squeeze my nose shut.
She paused when she sensed my presence and turned to look at me. A smile spread across her face.
"If I can't see that brat, then I might as well settle for this". She said while smiling.
"Who is the brat she's talking about? Han?".
"How old are you?" She asked and stretched her hand forward to touch my face. I moved back swiftly to avoid her touch. She was moving way too fast for me to catch and the smile on her face was beginning to creep me out. The knots and braids in her hair also made her look too out of place and weird.
