They returned home warm and full, their fingers still tangled with the softness of the evening. She kicked off her shoes the moment they entered, stretching like a sleepy kitten.
"Can you work from home tomorrow, Teddy?" Hauen asked while walking into the house.
"Wae?" he asked, trailing behind her with her tiny bag in hand like an obedient husband.
She turned, leaning on the doorway, eyes sparkling with mischief and affection. "Just… I get bored here alone when you're at the office. I'm too used to your presence, Husband."
A slow, shy smile spread across his lips. "Okay… I'll work from here tomorrow."
She beamed, satisfied. "I love you, Husband!" She walked into the bedroom with a bright smile.
He watched her tie her hair lazily, and something strong stirred inside him. The curve of her body, the way her neck exposed when she lifted her hair with her hands, the easy way she moved… everything about her suddenly hit him all at once. She wasn't even trying, but she was driving him out of his mind.
And then something shifted inside him like a switch being flipped. A sudden, raw urge tore through him. He followed her instantly, footsteps quick, almost instinctive, as if some longing he had been holding down all week finally clawed up to the surface.
The moment she stepped inside, he shut the door behind them with a firm thud. She turned halfway, but before her breath could even catch up, her back hit the wall, pinned.
Her eyes widened, the air escaping her in a small gasp. His hands framed her waist, caging her in with a boldness she had only seen once before… that night, a year ago… when he was drunk and out of control with emotion.
But tonight he wasn't drunk. Tonight he was clear, certain, burning.
"Wha—ar—" her words stumbled, her mind tripping over the shock.
He didn't let her finish. His mouth crashed onto hers, hungry, claiming, swallowing as if he was pulling the air straight from her soul. Her hands were snatched and pinned above her head, his chest pressing into hers, every line of his body demanding her, holding her, drawing her impossibly close.
The kiss deepened with a merciless intensity that left her breathless, heart clawing against her ribs. His lips felt different, urgent, consuming, like he had held this back far too long.
Only when she whimpered against his mouth, unable to keep up with the fire he poured into her, did he pull back.
Their breaths tangled, heavy, hot, desperate. His nose brushed her cheek as he whispered, voice dark and low, "I'm taking leave tomorrow."
Her eyes blinked rapidly, dazed, shaken, trying to process his sudden shift. He leaned closer, lips grazing her jaw as he continued,
"Because tonight… I'm going to love my wife hard. Intensely. Passionately. Completely. I'm pouring everything into you. Every drop of love."
Her knees weakened.
His gaze dipped to her lips, then back to her eyes. He smirked slightly, breath warm against her lips, "And tomorrow you won't be able to get out of bed. I'll need to be here… to take care of you."
Her lips parted, stunned, flustered, heat crawling up her neck, brain short-circuited.
He looked at her with dark, determined eyes. No hesitation. No hiding. Just pure, unfiltered desire for his wife.
And she felt every bit of it. Her mind stopped working for a moment. She couldn't believe this was her teddy, her usually shy Suho. This was something deeper, rawer, pulled from the pit of his heart where he had buried too much for too long.
He kissed her again, cupping her face with one firm hand, tasting her with slow, deliberate care… as if he had all the time in the world to love her properly.
His other hand worked on her dress, unfastening it gently. Nothing rushed. Nothing wild. Just perfectly controlled desire moving through him. She melted under his touch, completely undone.
Her fingers moved up to his chest, unbuttoning his shirt. He didn't let her finish. He lifted her suddenly, not breaking the kiss for even a heartbeat, and carried her to the bed. With a soft thud, she landed on the sheets, and he hovered over her.
His lips were swollen, his eyes burning with emotion, his breathing heavy. He shrugged off his blazer and half-unbuttoned shirt, then leaned down to kiss her again.
When he pulled back, his hair was messy, his face flushed, not from shyness but from the force of everything he felt for her. She looked like a beautiful mess beneath him, her dress slipping off her shoulders, chest rising and falling under the half-open fabric… and for a moment, neither of them could look away.
"What can I say… How do I even explain this…?" he whispered, voice shaky. "That I'm drowning in you, a little more every day, without even noticing." His lips trembled. "Should I sue you for making me fall this deep?"
She blinked, stunned by the honesty in his eyes.
"Aish… I'm fucked for real...," he muttered suddenly, almost cursing at himself. She had never seen him like this. "I'm really trapped under the spell of Kim Hauen..." He whispered.
Then he looked at her again, and a small smirk touched his lips. "Don't complain tomorrow, Jagi… I really can't go easy on you tonight. But I promise, I'll take care of you."
Heat curled low in her stomach, desire rising faster than she could manage. She pulled him closer by the neck, their lips barely a breath apart.
"You're wasting time by talking, Mr. Kim. Show me how much you can wreck me."
That was all he needed. He let out a soft laugh. Then his mouth claimed hers again, and everything else blurred.
The night itself seemed to blush as their bodies tangled. The moon slipped behind the clouds, and the stars blinked quietly, watching the raw love unfolding beneath the sheets.
The morning
Hauen woke first.
Her body felt heavy, warm, deliciously sore in places she didn't want to think about yet. The curtains were still drawn, letting in only the faintest slice of morning light. The room smelled like them, skin, sweat, his cologne faint on the sheets.
She tried to move… and immediately realized something. Suho was wrapped around her like a human lock.
One arm under her neck, the other across her waist, his leg hooked lazily over hers. His chest pressed against her back, breathing slow and deep, he was glued to her even in sleep.
"Teddy…" she whispered, trying to shift a little.
A low sound came from his chest, something between a groan and a whine. His grip tightened.
"No," he mumbled half-asleep, voice gravelly. "Don't move… stay here."
Her heart trembled; he sounded wrecked, tender, still drunk on last night.
"You said you're taking care of me today," she teased softly.
His eyes blinked open slowly, still hazy, still warm, still carrying that fire from the night before. He leaned in and kissed her shoulder, slow and lingering.
"I am," he murmured against her skin. "I'm not letting you leave this bed."
She turned to face him. His disheveled hair, swollen lips, fluffy, flushed cheeks, and deeper-than-usual voice. And when he looked at her… that same intensity from last night flickered again, but softer now, sweeter.
"Are you okay?" he asked quietly, brushing her cheek with his thumb.
She nodded, "Not really.."
He chuckled... his hands rubbing her back, "I'm sorry, but also I'm not sorry..." he said.
She smiled, "What do you mean?"
He pulled her a little closer, pecking her forehead, "It means I can't help loving you like this," he said, voice warm, steady. "I'm never done loving you. It's like you've seeped into every inch of me. Every thought, every breath… It's just my Hauenie now."
Her heart stilled. His sincerity always hit different.
"You know how I feel?" he murmured, brushing a strand behind her ear."I don't want anything except my Hauen. If you're by my side, I can walk through hell and still feel heaven in your arms. Nothing scares me when you're with me, Hauena."
Her eyes burned instantly.
He touched her nose with a light kiss. "My angel. My guardian angel," he said with a soft smile.
"You are making it emotional early in the morning," she whispered, blinking rapidly to hold herself together.
He chuckled, brushing his thumb under her eye. "I have a lot to say, Hauena… but I never find the right words. Sometimes I feel overwhelmed just by your existence. Just by remembering how we ended up together. How you stayed. How you held on to me… even when I didn't deserve it. And here we are," he pressed a long kiss on her lips and looked at her. His eyes shimmered full of affection and dreams.
"I'm dreaming of a beautiful forever with you, Hauena," he murmured. "After everything I went through, I'm finally brave enough to dream again. You, me… maybe a little one running around someday. Only if you're ready," he added with a small smile. "Because I still remember how much discomfort you went through last time, and it scares me."
She chuckled softly, and he did too.
"I'll build a house for us… our own place, our own little world," he continued. "How about naming it Kim Hauen Residency?" He looked at her with gentle excitement.
She laughed and lightly slapped his chest. He grinned. "Yes, perfect name."
"Kim Teddy would be better," she teased.
He stared at her with that shy softness, "That name is only mine. I patented it. Only Kim Hauen is allowed to use it, on me and only me."
She giggled. "You used to get annoyed when I called you that."
His face turned warm, and he buried himself against her neck. His voice vibrated softly against her skin. "To be honest… I liked it from the start, whenever you called me that. I just didn't admit it."
Her laughter shook the bed, making him squeeze her waist gently under the blanket. "Don't laugh," he whined, still hiding. "I was a confused mess back then. I thought I shouldn't feel that way…"
He held her tighter, his arms wrapped around her like a quiet confession.
She smiled and brushed his hair. He kissed her neck, then pulled back, a shy smile on his face. She leaned in, kissing his lips, very soft, slow, sealing, like she was savoring a sweet candy. He smiled, yet melting, "What are you doing?" he smiled again...
"These lips of yours tempting me, Teddy, I swear if I wasn't wrecked badly, I would have hoped on you right now." He giggled at her comment, falling on his back, his smile a beautiful delight, which made her heart flutter all over again...
She actually hopped on him, hovering on him, one hand slipping under his neck, another on his bare chest. He looked at her... eyes still having that joy. She leaned in this time, kissing him properly... slow, delight, his eyes fluttered close, melting into her, his hands holding her curves, she pulled back,
"I love you," she whispered... he smiled, pecking her lips softly, "I love too... Hauenie...." he said sweetly.
She smiled again… and then, with a playful little grunt, he rolled her onto the bed.
"Rest a bit, Jagi." He said softly. "I'll make food for us."
She pouted. "But Bora is there."
He shook his head with a small smile. "She's there, but I want to cook for my Hauenie. I promised I'd take care of you."
His sweet tone made her giggle. "Okay…"
He leaned down, kissed her forehead softly, then slipped off the bed. He pulled on his pants, took one last look at her resting on the sheets, and quietly walked out of the room, ready to take care of her exactly like he promised.
