Raze had been to Sariah's administrative office twice during the first year, once for the formal acknowledgment of his Kings ranking following the Culling Games and once for a brief exchange about territory resource allocation. Both visits had produced the same impression of the space: functional, precise, arranged to communicate institutional authority through the quality of what it contained and how it was ordered rather than through deliberate display.
The location she directed him to through the morning's brief message was different.
