Before the snake fled, with Kin and Zaku's corpses inside, it had devoured part of Dosu's stomach and ripped Bakugo's left arm with its fang.

Bakugo, who was sighing in relief at not having to face the beast, focused on Dosu, who was lying awake on the ground. He seemed whole except for the small detail: half of his stomach was missing and he was about to bleed to death.

"Fuck..." Bakugo cursed. "Mummy, stay still while I try to stop the bleeding," he ordered, approaching and placing his hands on the sound genin's bloody side.

"Get out of the way!" Dosu rudely shoved the ash-blond man.

—Don't be an idiot! I dislike this as much as you do, but I have to do this shit so you don't die!—said Bakugo.

"Mind your own business and leave me alone!" Dosu continued adamantly.

Bakugo looked at him for a moment and snorted loudly.

"Bah! It's your fucking life, if you want to die in such a regrettable place, that's up to you. I should have guessed you're a loser who gives up in the face of any adversity," Bakugo said, hoping the reverse psychology would work and she'd accept his help.

"I'm not giving up. Just accepting reality," Dosu replied, looking up at the sky, lying on the grass of the cursed forest. "I'm going to die here. The sooner I accept it, the better."

Seeing that it was useless to change his mind, he went a few meters away from Dosu and began to dig a hole with his hands.

"What are you doing?" Dosu asked, still looking up at the sky, but his hearing was as sharp as ever.

"Well, dig a fucking grave for your stupid corpse," Bakugo replied, ignoring the pain in his shoulder as he dug.

"Heh. After trying to kill you and your companions and after torturing you, you tried to save us and now you're digging a grave," Dosu said.

"Tsk," Bakugo muttered, continuing his action.

"Leave it alone, brat. I've fed on animals all my life. It's only right that now that I'm dying, they should feed on me," Dosu reasoned.

"Whatever you want," Bakugo said, stopping.

He approached the sound genin who was lying on his back and looked at him with a small sense of pity and sadness. He felt an incomprehensible guilt for the situation Dosu found himself in. If he hadn't chased them, the sound genin could have dodged the snake's attack and saved his life and the lives of his companions.

"Cough, cough," Dosu coughed blood, his health beginning to deteriorate considerably. "Are you just going to stand there until I die?" he asked ironically.

"I want to make sure you're not going to bother me anymore," Bakugo lied to avoid showing his remorse. "So just die now," he retorted.

Dosu, lying down, carefully observed Bakugo's image. He was a mess. Dried blood, pus, mud, Dosu's own blood from trying to stop the bleeding, and an abnormally pale complexion adorned the blond's skin.

—Cough, cough. Now I understand more about the question you asked me about whether I saw any experiments that didn't seem to be from this world. —Bakugo looked at him closely. He had forgotten that the reason for his pursuit, besides preventing his comrades from being attacked, was to obtain information about Orochimaru's experiments. —Cough, cough, you asked me that question because you yourself are not from here. And I'm not just saying that because of your abnormal stamina and those strange outbursts. Your attitude is not... cough, cough... typical of the ninja world. After trying to kill you... cough, cough... and your comrades and after torturing you,... cough, cough you tried to save us and you worried about digging a grave for me.—

With each passing second, Dosu's coughs became more frequent. His facial bandage had already taken on a reddish hue.

"Since you're going to die..." Bakugo said. "I come from another world, and that's why I need you to tell me everything you know about that strange experiment."

"Cough, cough, cough. I'm sorry to say I'm not the only one who's going to die," Dosu said. "I noticed the only fresh wound you have is the one on your left arm. It's a deep, long cut. Cough, cough."

"This?" Bakugo said, looking at the wound the snake's fang had caused, dismissing it as nothing. "Uh. It's barely more than a scratch. Stop beating around the bush and tell me what you know about that strange experiment."

"Cough, cough, cough, cough, cough," Dosu coughed even more forcefully. "I'll tell you, but first tell me if you've noticed your arm going numb."

Bakugo began to worry about the sound genin's words, it was true that he had a strange numbness that he only felt in his left arm.

"Cough, cough. I thought so," Dosu said, deducing the truth from the ash-blond man's face. "The beast that killed my companions and is going to kill me is a snake of the Agkistrodon piscivorus species. They are very common on the outskirts of my village. It is a very poisonous species. Cough, cough. It only grazed you with its fang, but the immensity of that specimen will make it impossible to escape death."

"Nonsense!" Bakugo said, not very convinced.

"Cough, cough, cough. The average adult dies less than an hour. And you're a child, and quite injured and exhausted. But you're certainly not a normal person. Cough, cough, cough. That's why I bet you'll be keeping me company wherever I go in about two hours. Cough, cough, cough," Dosu bet.

—Fuck you, bastard! Unlike you, I'm not going to let my story end here!—said Bakugo, about to leave without waiting for his enemy to die.

"Are you leaving now? Don't you want to know what I know about that strange man I met over five years ago? Cough, cough, cough, cough, cough, cough, cough, cough," Dosu said, nearly choking on his own blood from coughing.

—Fucking bastard! You just want me to stay here so I can die with you!—said Bakugo.

"It's not that. You're going to die anyway. I'm just returning the favor of telling me your big secret by telling you what I know. Even if it won't do you any good. Cough, cough," Dosu said, closing his eyes from exhaustion. "Like I told you before. I saw it a few times when Orochimaru was experimenting on my arm. It was out of the way, huge, and blond. Cough, cough, cough, cough."

Bakugo's eyes widened at that description. In his mind, there was only one person who matched those characteristics: All Might. He then crouched down, inches from Dosu's face, who was nearly asleep from blood loss.

"What was his name?" Bakugo asked. Seeing that she didn't respond, he shook her body vigorously. "Was his name Yagi Toshinori? Don't act asleep and answer for once!"

"Cough, cough, cough, cough, cough," he coughed in a weak voice. "I don't know her name, but... Cough, cough, cough."

—But? BUT WHAT! —Bakugo shouted, losing his patience.

—Cough, cough, cough. He had a nickname, a very peculiar one. Heh. The funny thing was that he gave it to himself. Who the hell gives themselves a nickname? It's only right for others to give it to you... —Dosu whispered, beginning to rave about the loss.

—STOP WITH THE NONSENSE AND TELL ME HIS NICKNAME!—Bakugo shouted, completely forgetting about the snake venom that Dosu told him a minute ago.

—His nickname..., he called himself... was...—those were the last words of Dosu Kinuta who breathed his last breath of life.

—HEY! HEY! DON'T FALL ASLEEP! —Bakugo shouted, not realizing that the sound genin had already died—WAS IT ALL MIGHT? RIGHT? WAKE THE FUCKING FUCK UP AND TELL ME IT WAS ALL MIGHT!

Bakugo placed his hands on Dosu's chest and tried to revive him with the Heimlich maneuver. Even though he knew he was already dead, he continued to offer sympathy, hoping for a miracle and for him to revive, confirming that the person he saw was All Might. Almost a minute after he died, Bakugo gave up and walked away from the sound genin's corpse.

He stood up and stood for a few moments, until the numbness in his arm worsened and he remembered Dosu's words.

I bet in about two hours you'll be keeping me company wherever I go.

—Fuck him. Fuck him, and Orochimaru, and this fucking forest, and the exam, and every fucking snake in the world. —Bakugo thought. ...I'm not going to die here. Not before finding out if it's true that All Might came to this world. And if so, this time I'll be the one to save him. Besides, I still have to find out the truth about the Uchiha clan massacre. I owe it to her. —

He thought about Mikoto for a few moments until his head formed a plan to survive.

"I still have enough strength to get out of here. I don't know if I'll be able to make it to the hospital, but as long as I get out of this forest, I can set off an explosion and some ninja will see the smoke and take me to the hospital." Bakugo thought.

And that's how he made the decision to sacrifice his pride (of being defeated in the exam and failing it) to get out of there alive so he could fulfill his great goals of discovering the truth about the Uchiha clan and All Might's possible experiment.

But when he hadn't even gone a hundred meters, a coughing fit made him stop immediately. It was so severe it made him cough up blood. His internal organs were damaged.

"I have to hurry, or else..." Bakugo thought, wiping the blood with the back of his hand as he continued.

After another 300 meters, Bakugo's body stopped following his brain's orders for a moment and fell to the ground like a sack of potatoes.

"Cough, cough, cough," he coughed blood again, trying to get up. "Come on, fuck. Come on, you're not a fucking loser!"

The harangue worked as he set off again, but this time he no longer had the strength to run, so he walked, occasionally holding onto tree trunks to avoid falling.

At one of his many stops, when he looked up, he saw something his eyes couldn't believe.

—Impossible.—Bakugo's stuttering.

The shadow of a very tall, muscular man with his arms loomed in the distance. As he approached a few feet, he saw that the figure had blond hair combed back except for two strands in front that stood up in a peak. His face showed completely white, perfect teeth that shone on their own. He was wearing a red, white, and blue bodysuit with yellow boots.

The figure standing in front of Bakugo was, without a doubt, All Might's figure at his finest. Wait... was it?
