"Let me take you to work."
Emma woke up half an hour late this morning; she was indeed a bit rushed.

Alex curled his lips, smiled lightly: "No need to be polite, Emma."
His eyes suddenly stopped on her empty hand: "Why aren't you wearing a ring?"
Emma raised her hand, glanced at his ring finger, where the ring was still neatly placed: "That ring is too expensive, I'm afraid I'll accidentally break it."
The diamond ring was very beautiful, but its value was really too great. Right now, her position in the company was just a small intern, wearing such a gorgeous ring didn't suit her "image".
