"How boring."
"Salmon."
In a classroom at Tokyo Jujutsu High, a group of male students were idly killing time.
Compared to the usual scenes at Tokyo Jujutsu High, where students occasionally struggled on the brink of life and death, they all seemed like ordinary students at this moment.
"Where are the teachers?"
Yuji tilted his head and looked at Megumi, who was sitting at his desk.
"Today is the day the Kyoto Jujutsu High students return, so Principal Yaga and the teachers all went to see them off."
Noticing Yuji's gaze, Megumi answered without lifting his head.
"Did Satoru go too?"
"He did."
"Doesn't Satoru hate boring formal events like that?"
Yoshino Junpei asked curiously.
"He probably finds it boring too."
Panda, who was sprawled on the floor and nearly flattened into a panda pancake, said lazily.
"I think I heard someone talking about me."
"Woah, Satoru!"
Yuji was startled by Satoru, who had suddenly appeared behind him.
"Teacher, weren't you seeing off the people from Kyoto Jujutsu High?"
Yuji patted his startled little heart and asked in a tone that was half reproachful and half confused.
"Utahime wouldn't talk to me at all today for some reason, and Principal Yaga was being terribly boring, so I came back early."
"It's probably not good for a teacher to leave such a formal event early."
Junpei awkwardly scratched his cheek and tactfully reminded him.
Ever since Junpei joined Tokyo Jujutsu High, the number of normal people at Tokyo Jujutsu High had happily increased by one.
"Eichi is there too, so it's fine. What were you all talking about just now?"
Satoru waved his hand, signaling Junpei not to worry, then looked at the group that had just been discussing something.
"He actually changed the subject…"
Junpei opened his mouth, but since he still had not shed his ordinary sense of shame, he did not know how to persuade Satoru to work seriously.
"Everyone else left, so we're really bored now."
As soon as this was mentioned, Yuji deflated like a balloon and slumped back onto his desk.
"I see. Boredom is indeed a very serious problem."
Satoru stroked his chin and said something Junpei completely failed to understand.
Megumi's eye twitched, and he had a vague bad feeling.
"How about we play catch with yesterday's leftover rice balls while discussing the separation of church and state?"
Satoru suddenly made finger guns with both hands and pointed them at Yuji.
"Megumi, you'll be in charge of recording. After we're done, we'll upload the video to a website and have Eichi make it trend to start a debate. How does that sound?"
After speaking, Satoru looked at Megumi expectantly.
"I refuse."
Megumi, who had already prepared himself, refused without even lifting his head.
From what he knew of Satoru, no matter what the other party said at a time like this, he only needed to refuse.
At most, Satoru would sulk in a corner and stare at him, or slip him little notes like a child.
Megumi still could not forget the time Satoru stared at him for an entire afternoon, only for him to find a note with an elephant drawn on it in his clothes when he got home.
The problem was that Tsumiki, who had been planning to wash Megumi's clothes, was the one who found the note.
Tsumiki even dragged their mother over to give Megumi an educational lecture.
Nanami senpai said that he had also experienced being slipped notes by Satoru and being stared at for an entire day out of spite.
"Eh? Megumi is so boring."
Satoru's arms instantly drooped limply.
"Exactly, exactly. Fushiguro is so boring."
Yuji, who had somehow sidled up to Satoru, chimed in.
"You think so too, right? Let me tell you, when Megumi was little…"
Satoru leaned close to Yuji's ear, covered his mouth with his hand, and began telling stories about little Megumi in a voice loud enough for the entire classroom to hear.
"Enough, Satoru! If you have nothing else to do, go bite a lighter. You don't need to force yourself here."
Megumi could no longer sit still. If this continued, his image as a cool, aloof guy would be completely ruined.
"I know, I know."
Satoru immediately raised both hands in surrender.
"What else is interesting…"
Satoru scanned the classroom.
"Speaking of which, why are there only a few of you here? Where are Kugisaki and the others?"
Satoru asked curiously.
"They went to see off the female students from Kyoto Jujutsu High. Satoru, didn't you go too?"
Megumi looked at him strangely, as if saying, "I know that, but you were actually there, weren't you?"
"Speaking of which, they haven't had those experiences yet, it seems."
A mischievous smile tugged at Satoru's lips.
"Hey, Yuji."
"What is it, Teacher?"
"What do you think about skirts?"
Satoru leaned in front of everyone with a wide smile.
"I always feel like a skirt is just a piece of cloth wrapped around the waist. It doesn't cover anything at all, does it?"
Yuji crossed his arms and said seriously.
At the same time, he imagined himself fighting in a skirt and constantly suffering wardrobe malfunctions.
Thinking of this, Yuji shivered all over.
"Skirts really are dangerous. Why are there so many dangerous little skirts everywhere on the streets?"
Yuji felt that his hoodie and long pants were much safer.
"I heard short skirts existed in the Middle Ages, you know. And stockings and high heels too. It seems those things were originally worn by male nobles."
Panda rolled over and joined the group.
"Panda senpai, please read less questionable history."
Megumi retorted.
"But a lot of oil paintings show male nobles wearing high heels and stockings."
"Those aren't the same as modern high heels and stockings, okay?"
Megumi sighed and rubbed his forehead.
"But wearing something like that makes it way too easy to expose yourself, doesn't it? Walking around in such low-defense equipment is truly shameless."
Satoru began making exaggerated gestures.
"Something feels off, but it also kind of makes sense."
"Salmon."
Yuji, Toge, and Junpei had already been led astray by Satoru's logic.
"As for short skirts, aren't there quite a few at Tokyo Jujutsu High?"
Panda provided a timely assist.
"Hmm, indeed."
Satoru nodded, then suggested,
"To understand why something so shameless is so popular, let's research it together."
Satoru raised both arms high and looked up at the sky at a forty-five-degree angle, clearly striking the pose of someone about to start a revolution.
"Oh!"
Yuji cheered along beside him.
"Eh? Oh, oh!"
Junpei's brain was currently in a state of complete confusion.
"Alright, everyone, follow me."
Soon, Satoru skillfully led everyone except Megumi to the girls' dormitory area.
Then he expertly opened a window of the girls' dormitory.
The buildings in Tokyo Jujutsu High's dormitory area were all relatively traditional, with many designs that felt like they were meant to deter gentlemen, not scoundrels.
So, when Satoru was bored, he was practically omnipotent here and could go anywhere.
Except Medea's warehouse.
