After these guys came back to their senses, it wasn't even a second before all of them fell down on the floor, breathing heavily, but luckily alive still, only unconscious .
Ignoring the stare that Tatsuya was giving me, I healed them up secretly and removed the traumatizing experience from their memory, cleansed the traces it left on their souls and finally they began to wake up and was ready to start rioting again .
This time I thought to play them more mildly, instead of them attacking me, they start charging at one another, Using Fabrication, each one of them was currently fighting against a fellow club member using their training swords .
The onlookers were gasping at the fact that the scene in front of them had started to look like they were not fighting anymore but performing a good display of their skills, I kept things under check here and so did Tatsuya, he finally finished dealing with the matter with the guy who violated the rules of the duel .
From the look of things, it seem that his intentions for what he did was slightly different, recalling the scene in my mind, I kept feeling that this guy wasn't trying to hurt the girl or thrashing her pride or anything like that .
But the question still stand, what exactly was he trying to do, just as things finally seemed to be settling down nicely, the sounds of a few hurried steps being taken came to our ears, then a few older classmates finally appeared before us .
They said that they will take it from here, they also seemed to know the guy's identity as well, Tatsuya handed them the digital camera since it was part of the evidence on what exactly happened here, after that the crowds started to disperse and we helped the girl on the floor who was still seemed to be quite shocked at how things developed .
She looked at Tatsuya and thanked him for his help and finally introduced herself as :
Mibu Sayaka, a member of the traditional kendo club .
She was a girl with semi-long dark brown hair done in a ponytail, big blue eyes, her eyes for some reason were a bit shifty as if she was having an internal struggle with something on her mind, she only introduced herself to Tatsuya .
She spared me only a single look, blushed slightly then her expression become stern as she looked at the sigil on my school jacket, a Bloom, the girl seem to be uncomfortable with me being around her, so I let Tatsuya handle this and retreated a bit far from them .
Erika soon joined them and the girl didn't seem too bothered by her, so it confirmed my suspicions of me being the only one outcasted by her due to being a Bloom, just great, but once again this was how things were in school and intentionally or not this was the effect of the current school system have on the students .
In terms of spreading hate and jealousy, I would say that it succeeded and exceeded what the school board might have even expected, if their expectations was to make this school a horrible place, plagued with endless internal struggles and disputes among students .
But these days, I'm open to the hopeful thought of this not actually be their intentions, things could always be misleading, Mibu Sayaka had finished talking with Tatsuya and Erica and was currently being berated by the actual Kendo club president .
A tall guy with plain look and was wearing glasses, the second he appeared, both me and Tatsuya couldn't help but squint our eyes at him, even though he was quite polite and bowed his head slightly to express his gratitude for not letting the scene become even more chaotic, something about this guy felt off .
Mibu said goodbye to both of the two Tatsuya and Erica, then she let out a whispering snort and her eyes actually glared there at me, then she finally followed her other fellow club members and president and got out of the place .
Tatsuya was able to see what just happened quite clearly, but like me he had no clue on what was exactly going on with that girl, Erica on the other hand was different, she was also able to notice the subtle difference in the way Mibu Sayaka was acting when I was around .
It look like Mibu-san don't also like perverts, no matter how good looking they may be ? .
I glared at her and almost lost my cool there for a second, she shuddered slightly and her expression become grave, then without saying anything else, I stepped out of the room completely ignoring here, our patrol time was over, so I bid Tatsuya farewell and stepped out of the building .
Then I felt like wanting to clear my mind a little and I finally found myself involuntarily appear on the rooftop of the school building, the fresh air here was calming, the blue sky tainted with a warm but sharp glow of the afternoon sun made the scene also quite captivating .
I had a lot of things on my mind, but I already had answers for most of them, now I want nothing but to enjoy calmly staying still for a while, but no matter how I tried, Erica's words kept sounding in my ears and hitting my heart like a whip .
Normally, I wouldn't have cared in the slightest about what she thought of me, she was a newly acquired friend, one that I didn't hold much care for losing if this end up happening, it's just that she said those words with much conviction as if she believed them to be 100 percent correct .
This made me wonder if I did truly do something that made her think of me like that, what might be the reason, well since Tatsuya also felt uncomfortable with telling me what it was, I can conclude that it was something considered embarrassing .
But I had a few encounters with that girl and not a single one of them seemed to give a clue about me doing something shameful or even something close to be called as such, no thoughts are wrong, to know the answer I might need to check the first time I actually met her and interacted with her .
My mind swirled slightly and I was now standing in one of the memories I had on the Entrance Ceremony, I should be able to understand the situation better now, I was at the podium giving my speech, scenes were being played in front of me one after the other, the scene when Fluffy made an appearance started to unfold before me .
Then I looked at Ericka in my memory and saw that even though everyone was completely focused at the funny rabbit on the podium, Erika was for some reason blushing and shrinking her head as if feeling ashamed by something .
The same reaction or something a bit more close to it happened before when I had winked at her, I finally got a clue on what might have made her start labeling me as a pervert, looking at her in the memory I have of that day, I decided to test something out .
Something that will keep haunting me for the next of my school days and for the rest of my life, I used different kind of visions to scan Erica, then I finally know why she was pulling her clothes and acting this strangely .
I directly cut off what I was doing and for some time, I kept staring at the sky above with unfocused gaze, what a troublesome situation had I gotten myself into, this whole situation was quite the misunderstanding, a huge ~cough~ one at that .
Now, how would I even manage to solve a situation like that, I was already regretting delving deep into this situation, I might even wipe my whole memories if it was going to solve the problem, I now have a clear idea to why she addressed me as such .
Yet, I can't deny it now even if I was just trying to check what might affected her opinion of me to be this bad, I still saw everything that she wore that day and Fluffy appearance and me winking at her literally minutes before made everything misleading even more, but what could I possibly do now .
Unexpectedly, it seem that the school day was over without me noticing, the sky above me was now completely red, before I thought that I have 30 to 40 minutes before that happen, but due to being lost in my own thoughts, time had slipped out of my hand .
I first checked my cellphone, there was a few missed calls, well not so few, in fact Juvia had called me 50 times, she sent 20 messages and my cellphone screen was completely bugged with them, reading through them, I finally got the important details she wanted to tell me .
She got admitted into the maids club she wanted, she asked on why I wasn't answering her calls, then the tone in those messages become heavy with worry, then the tone changed again into a full panicked mode and her last message was what almost made me slap myself .
She was going to contact the family, my mother and tell her that I was missing, things today are completely getting off hand, not to mention that I'm literally injected with a small tracking device that could tell my mother where I'm exactly, but Juvia calling her well complicate things even more .
I hurriedly sent her a message calming her down, luckily it has been only 10 minutes since she went mad with panic, so there should be a chance to prevent her from going ahead and contacting my mother .
Phew, she directly called me after seeing me replying to her message, luckily she still didn't call, the reason was quite strange, she was currently being pulled into a cafe outside the school by Mizuki, Leo and Erika, accompanied by Miyuki and Tatsuya, the latter was the one who interfered and calmed her down, telling her that I was fine and I should be joining them in a while .
Scrolling through the other messages I saw that earlier to the messages sent by Juvia, I received three messages inviting me to join them at the cafe, Leo sent one, Mizuki sent another and Tatsuya urging me to come and join them was the last one .
Seeing the time of the first message, it was almost half an hour ago, while the last one from Tatsuya was a quarter of an hour ago, knowing him, he should be wrapping up this meeting pretty quick, so by the time I arrive there, everything should be over and I won't get to interact with her, hopefully .
But wishes and hopes didn't seem to worth much these days, as I reached the Cafe where they sat at, I saw through the window that they seem to be still engrossed in talking with each other and looking to be quite in harmony with each other .
Harmony that I was certain going to be broken the second I took a step inside the cafe, so I stood there watching everything unfolding from a bystander point of view, it looked like I was distancing myself from them, but this was some times for the better, this time was one of those times .
And it's not that they didn't have a clue about me being outside, at least not most of them, but those who knew only looked at each other weirdly and said nothing, I contacted them to not say anything about me being present telepathically, Tatsuya was an eyewitness on what happened today with Erika and he knew a bit more than that, I now understood why he found great difficulty in telling me the reason before .
Miyuki was the one who spoke to Erika about it and managed to find out what really happened that day and then reported it to Tatsuya, she frowned for a second there, unaware that I had already figured what happened and was a bit in a conflict on how to act from here on out .
Juvia didn't frown upon me doing this in the slightest, she was completely oblivious to what happened before and what was currently going on, her expression brightened up a bit even as she become aware of me being completely fine .
Why isn't Ryuu-san joining us ? .
But even though the three of them didn't say anything about me standing outside, there was one person whom I didn't expect to do so, Mizuki and her special eyes managed to find me standing outside the cafe, I still didn't know how it work exactly, but it allowed here to still find me .
Seeing that I was already found out, there was no point in me hiding anymore, so I just sighed and stepped inside, I was greeted by Leo and the others warmly, Erika raised her eyebrows at me and her eyes carried a mix of weird and difficult to express emotions .
Leo :
What took you so long, I almost thought that you won't be coming ? .
" Oh sorry for that, after finishing patrol, I went ahead and found a quite place to relax in a little, didn't expect to be so worn out today, almost to the point that I didn't feel anything when I went asleep .
Mizuki :
The Public Morals committee is indeed quite busy these days, are you fine now, we are sorry for calling you out here when you're already having enough troubles ? .
Leo was able to understand what I was saying and nodded resolutely, he must have done this before and he completely understood, Mizuki on the other hand was starting to feel down because she was one of those who had sent me a message, inviting me to this cafe .
" Don't worry about it, I'm still a bit drowsy, but I'm all good after taking some rest, thank you all for inviting me .
They smiled at me and I couldn't help seeing their weird expression, even though I was already aware of what caused them to show such expressions beforehand, but this was just to try and keep the conversation and the harmony in the air going .
Tatsuya and Miyuki were acting coyly with each other which made these guys almost die from how the situation looked like, Mizuki blushed deeply and unlike the other two she was actually embarrassed watching the two acting all lovey-dovey with each other with the hint of brother and sister romance .
She wasn't aware of them joking, at least one of them was while the other just went along not wanting to spoil her fun, Juvia was quite expressionless, already too familiar with such interactions between the two of them, I acted taken aback slightly as I took my seat while ignoring the silent glaring Erika .
