I gasped as the connection broke.
Elon pulled me behind him, shielding me as another group of men rushed in with chains, weapons and strange glowing stones.
More shouts followed, but I was too disoriented to understand what was going on. All I heard was chanting in a strange language followed by flashes of white light.
The monster roared again, but this time it sounded pained.
I peeked around Elon's shoulder just in time to see it being pulled down by ropes glowing with runes. It thrashed and twisted, its eyes burning as it was dragged away. Finally, the door slammed shut, and the room became silent again except for the pounding of my heart.
I slumped against the wall, shaking. My hands were numb, my throat was dry, and the metallic scent of blood lingered in the air.
Elon turned to his brothers. "Is everyone alright?" He asked.
